Purchased an end of lease clean then got given a non-expiring $50 off voucher - moveoutmates.com.au
where would one input this code on the moveoutmates website? I can't seem to purchase their services without making a call or email contact…
I think they need to get in contact with you after you request a quote and you can mention on the phone.
One thing to be wary of is that agents may have a preferred cleaner and it can be worth the cost to have your place cleaned by someone who the agent has suggested… as they can't just then turn around and say it wasn't cleaned properly.
TBH I say tough tttes, you've got a receipt from a business whom has cleaned it. Unless it's the normal average cost as any other cleaner in your area I wouldn't/won't be using what cleaners they suggest. I do understand what you're saying but I can see some agreed kickbacks going on there.
The cleaning contract is between you and the cleaner not the agent. The rental agreement is between you and the agent. If the house isn't clean that isn't the agents problem and they won't care who you used.
I just don't believe in 'Pick this one' because we like them guff.
@Cobrin: oh I completely agree and I'm glad I do not rent anymore. There is no real protection against the small time scams.
Definitely true. My agent didn't have a preferred cleaner when I asked so I turned to the internet.
These guys offer a bond back guarantee so can't really lose!
What were their rates pre discount?
I'm not sure of general rates but I'm paying $349 for 2 bedroom clean including steam cleaning carpets, clean oven etc.
This is pre discount rate as I can't get it on my clean as they gave me the voucher after I signed up - believe me I tried to get it anyway.
