    • did you happen to notice if the seals on the box were cut and another seal put over the top?

      • One of the seals on the top right hand side seemed to have two pieces, one full circle seal and another half, not sure if it was opened. The rest seemed fine.
Everything in the box was totally sealed and in place.

        Something missing from yours?

        • i havnt opened it yet , just seemed strange how the 2 xbox box seals were cut and 2 seals put over the top of them

  • Anyone been to Knox?
I couldn't convince my wife to go and check it out.
Being the sadist that I am I would love to hear that someone managed to pick up an xbone bundle there….

    • +3

Still got a few of the xbox one with kinect and without kinect. Go now if you want to buy it before it sold out.

Also I saw 4 boxes of PS3 500Gb left and 3 boxes of Xbox 360 500Gb with Call of Duty games as of 2pm.

      Cheers

      • +1

        Cheers!
Just rang and got one on hold.

        • No worries

    • Knox has several Xbox bundles left and 1 500gb PS3

  • Thanks OP. Checked Hobart store and got Shadow of Mordor & Dishonored

    • Did Hobart have any consoles out anything else noteworthy?

  • +2

WoW timecards for $1 are an absolute bargain and the battle chest for $10 is pretty good too.

    • No timecards left in Perth CBD. Someone 5 minutes ahead of me got the last one. :)

    • Going to check my local over lunch. Not much hope though. Don't think I've seen a PC game there in years. I pay for my sub with gold, can't beat $1 though!

They had heaps of boxes. They couldn't find the cards though :(

  • any news on xb1 controller…i called few stores…they dont have controller with play and charge kit

  • Trails Fusion Xbox one for 15. Is this a good deal?

  • I know this is a longshot, but anyone that goes into any target store that has the time cards for WOW for $1, can you grab them and message me? im happy to pay , ive tried all stores around Melbourne vic with no luck ..

    • +1

I was at the Strathpine (Brisbane) store on the weekend and they had a couple of time cards. Would be worth giving the store a call.

      • only issue is im not sure how I will be able to get them. Im in Melbourne and theres no way they would organize it ..

        • +2

I'll head up to the store this evening.

If they've any left I'll inbox you the good news :)

        • @Online Bathroomware: you are an absolute legend. I actually have them on the phone right now and they have 3 they are trying to find a way to get them to me hahaha, ill update you.

        • @umBERK: messaged!

  • Got a copy of Mordor for $15 and Witcher 3 for $30 at Greensborough. not much else there though. They had more in the back though. so if you are looking for something specific ask them if they have it in storage.

    • did they have halo MMC ?

  • good thing that when i first get to work i check ozbargain, and that WA is a few hours behind. woke up my bf to call target when it opens and he has a xbox kinect in his hands right now.

Cockburn Target WA - when he left (20min ago?) there was 4 with kinect , 7 consoles only.

    • not a good idea to give bf gaming console…you know

      • +4

I know, kinda regretted telling him but the bargain hunter in me couldnt stop myself…

    • Is that the assassins creed bundle?

      • +2

yes he got the unity bundle. he said there was the halo one there (not sure how many) but he didnt get it because he didnt realise that the console was a 1tb -_- as a bargain hunter he brings out the sadness in me.

        • Good find nonetheless. Congrats

    • +2

      No +ve vote?

      • -2

:'( even made sure to tell my bf to check how much stock was left so that i could update it here. haha

        • Just made a totally impulsive decision and picked one up in the city. Around 4 left apparently. I was actually hunting for a 3ds hahah

  • Managed to snag the ass creed Xbox one bundle, south park sot, ESO and Destiny from Blacktown. Wss surprisingly empty, cashier said I was only the second one there today looking for clearance. There are no more Xbox's, wii u or 3DS on sale, but there are still ps4's.

    • Which ps4 bundles did they have?

    • +1

      Ass creed? LOL.

  • So is target going the way of dick smith?

    • +1

      No.

    • Target is def struggling but no way would it close

  • +1

Two XBOX 360 500GB bundle consoles were (maybe more stock hiding somewhere) in the shelf at Target Canberra Centre ACT by the time I arrived this morning. Now only 1 left :D

  • +4

Just my luck, the Target Gaming sale starts a week after the local Target burns down. :(

    • +1

Well that's one way to have a clearance.

  • +2

I checked the Mt Ommaney store (along with a few fellow ozbargainers there too) around 10.30am and there was a decent amount of Wii U and 3DS games, and a handful of XB1 and PS4 titles.

I would recommend trying the Toombul, Strathpine, and Queen St (CBD) stores, as these have been the best stores for stock from past bargain hunts.

  • +1

In Brisbane it'll be the older target's that have the stock, the ones that haven't had renovations in the last year or so.

  • +1

Queen St Brisbane store was pretty much cleaned out for the cheaper PS4 items. A lot of "The Crew" left…

There were some titles left for XBone.

  • Got Turtle Beach headset for $20 - was $89

  • In Hobart:
Hobart CBD has one Xbox 360 E 4gb in stock
Glenorchy has multiple PS3s (100 and 200gb) as well as the Wii Splatoon bundle

  • +1

    Absolutely nothing at Castle Hill

    • +1

Not even a castle on a hill?

      • Especially not that

      • Its just a hill these days

  • Call of Duty advanced warfare 360 worth $20?

  • +14

I have to bring up something, unfortunately, please use manners when dealing with the staff, thanks yous go a long way, plus dont just dump games on the counter and then after the staff look for the guts and seal the game with their return stickers, only to then say, "I though it was cheaper, I dont want these ones anymore", use the price checkers in the store, they are there for a reason. Also its almost 1pm, its safe to say what you are looking for is gone, try not to call stores all over your state looking for a console which is probably already limited before the sale, when 50+ people do this, it just frustrates the staff, having to answer the same question again and again….

  • Picked up the Xbox 360 COD bundle at rouse hill for $149

The friendly service person said he was sure there was more of them at the back

  • I called 4 targets around me, 3 had nothing, and one didn't answer the phone after 3 calls over 3 hours (1 per hour). So I went down and got the last bundle.

    Assassins Creed Kinect Bundle $329
    +
    Halo Master Chief Collection $25

Going to try and sell the digital copies of assassins creed plus the Kinect. Then hopefully a deal will come up for Halo 5, still priced at $89 at Target.

    • +1

send me a PM about Halo 5, I've got one I can sell to you? I'd be happy to help out a fellow OzB'r

Not sure if that's frowned upon so I figured a PM would be ok

      • -1

Nobody's gonna frown on you for dumping Halo 5…

      • PM'D

  • Splatoon wii u bundles and xb1 kinect bundles @ hollywood plaza SA

    • niceeeeeeee, might have a look!

  • +6

I converted the PDF to a google sheet (its read only but you can download it and sort it if you want)

1 more Xbone w/ kinect + unity at Doncaster Vic after I grabbed one, $329 for the new man cave I'll be prepping for the kids…

    • Gone as of 1.15pm :(

    • +2

I thought the man cave is to get away from the kids?

  • +9

Thanks to the ozbargainer who brodened all the ps3 games at camberwell target as I was looking through them…leave some for others ffs!

    • +1

Sounds more like a broden than an OzBargainer.

    • these deals get posted on a lot more than just ozbargain

  • The xbox one controller is so cheap,i will get it today, i hope its still in stock

    • +2

nope nothing after 2 store visits and 8 calls, no one got it in stock

  • There running out fast at Target Brisbane CBD! got myself a few games ive been looking at but diddnt wanna spend 70

  • +1

I picked up the Xbox One assassin's creed bundle (the last they had), and a 12Gb PS3 - they had a few of those left at lunchtime today (Airport West VIC).

They didn't have the Kinect version (would have loved that for $329 though), and no Xbox 360 consoles (at least the $50 one anyway).

  • +1

Thanks OP, just picked up MGS V Phantom Pain Day One edition for XB1, from Forest Hill. Very happy!!

They still had a couple copies of the PS4 version, plus quite a few other games on this list if anyone is nearby.

  • Anyone seen any of the Disney Infinity 2.0 figures? None in my local in Hornsby. Looking for some of the more obscure ones such as Loki, Ronan, Green Goblin and Yondu.

  • -3

    Hello Guys.

Is anyone around these target stores or going to try pick up some games themselves?

    Morayfield and North Lakes?

    QLD

they have a few WoW game codes available on hold for me if anyone is going in to those stores.

Can you please PM me and ill organize with you for payment etc?

Much appreciated, if not no stress.

    • +2

So you are in Melbourne but you have both Morayfield and North Lakes holding items for you that you have no way of collecting yourself?

    • +1

      You're an a$$hole

      • -5

Actually the only reason why I had them on hold is because a nice ozbargainer here is around the area and organized to get me the ones local to him, and the bloke from one of the stores said those 2 stores were sort of close too. He's not close to the 2 stores so I was wondering if people were going there anyway. They are only holding it till close today so no need to let tears loose Should probably check the story before posting anything though, guess you get your type of people and then you get the good type of people as well. Expected.

        • Should probably check the story before posting anything though

          Ok, checked.

a nice ozbargainer here is around the area

Unless you went to PM, you had a guy (who as far as I remember lives/works way down south in Mount Ommaney) mention he will look out for items for you at Strathpine, which is already something like a 30km drive, and message you if successful. Morayfield is at least that distance again and North Lakes is in the middle. These stores are not in their area.

If the "nice Ozbargainer" actually agreed to do that, then he deserves a medal.

Remind me next time I see a post for something that I can't find in Brisbane, to message you so you can visit two stores that you never mentioned you were going to, to collect items for me!

It's not even that you sound like you are taking advantage of a members kind offer, you also are hording stock which you have no way to pick up. How about I ring your local store next time there is a sale and get them to hold stock, you then go in and find it is held for someone in Queensland who MIGHT be able to find someone to pick up the items.

TLDY: If you have no way to actually purchase the item, it's selfish to hold stock.

        • -3

@michael_123: He sure did buddy, what a top bloke!

Like clearly stated ( which must mean you haven't really checked ) the guys at the store told me to call as they were the ones around him, shame that he got his story mixed up and weren't really close huh? If only I got his name so I could call him back and tell him he gave wrong info!

I have no problem at all, I have also told him to tell me the pricing of petrol for the drive he is actually making apart from the actual fee of the item, so unless you were the one going to pick it up for me you really shouldn't be complaining about anything along those lines.

if you went through all the trouble and someone said they will go get it for you around my area, I couldn't care less. Like the OP said first in best dressed, took a chance and if both stores took the time to still hold stock for that time even though I told them I was from Melbourne, then that's great customer service.

I believe its up to them to inform people and say " its on hold till today but if it doesn't get picked up ill get you to leave your name and number and ill call you tomorrow ". its really simple.

If I were you though I would call the stores up right now and tell them how upsetting and furious they decided to hold stock for an interstate person, knowing I was from Melbourne! If I was holding it for a week, and I didn't want to call and say sorry I cant get in, different story, then you'd look decent in regards to your comments. Either way, target are their own store and their own company and are old enough to make their decisions when I state I may or may not be able to get it organized and I live interstate.

  • Got adventure time, gow, pay day 2, dishonored, and the crew for ps4 from waverley garden. No xbox one bundle in there as well as in the glen. However, in the glen has one 3DS XL blue

  • Thanks OP, went to my local target and got a few games i had been eyeing for a little while

  • Eastland and Knox (VIC) are both pretty much cleaned out software wise. I picked up Ryse and South Park for $25. A few $5 games left, but im sure they'll be gone by now. Plenty of stuff like Just Dance left if thats your thing, but not much else.

No idea about Hardware though, so your luck may vary.

    • Eastland had a crap load of games left at 1.30pm

    • You didn't check for xbox consoles?

      • They only had the standard ITB model at $529
Nothing from the clearance list :(

      • +1

Knox has 8 Xbox bundles with Kinect left at around 3pm

  • Nothing at my local Target Country, which is spot on typical. Well, a couple bones and some games, but no 3DS games nor DS4s.

Thanks for the work though, OP!

  • Assasains Creed Xbox One bundle at Unley at $329 and a Halo 5 1TB one for $399. PS4 section has been cleaned out but still decent Xbox One game deals.

  • Hmmm my local Target had a couple of the $50 XBOX 360's

They also had a 1TB Xbox One with Halo Master Chief but they said it was $599 :(
    Surely that can't be right?
    It was this one:
    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msaus/en_AU/pdp/1TB-Xbox…

They had the 500gb Assassins Creed XBOX One as well - but not with Kinect. Didn't seem such a bargain given the Kinect version is the same price :(

    • Shows $399 online for Halo 5 Limited Edition Bundle so I guess that is bit different to MC edition…
Go for MS Store for the one you have mentioned.

    • I bought that one as they didn't have any Kinect versions available. The reality is I wouldn't be using the Kinect anyway, and I'm hoping $329 is still an OK price for that bundle!

    • The $399 one is the Halo 5 console and game. The actual console is silver and comes with Halo 5

The one you're talking about is a black 1TB console and the Halo MCC game (not Halo 5)
