How to tell if Nexus 6P is Aus or Grey Stock?

Hello,

I was recently offered a 32gb 6P for quite a good price, but seller cannot provide an invoice. Claims that it was bought from JB but JB doesn't even stock 32gb even since release (correct me if I'm wrong)? Are there any other ways to tell? I know that Kogan have been selling the version with all bands so I don't think that method will work to differentiate.

Cheers.

is there any warranty left on the mobile? it seems strange not to keep tax invoice for warranty.

    • You don't need a receipt for warranty claims, so it's not strange at all

How does jb process warranty claims without proof of purchase?

        • Card statement is sufficient for proof of purchase

Ask him to send you a picture of the power brick- if its Aus stock it will have the aus power brick?

Its not definitive but if its not the aus brick you know for sure.

  • Passing on the problems I think.

No invoice not telling you what's right. I'd move on from this.

  • Ask the seller to show you IEMI info and use the IEMI to check the model?
