Have lost 3.5mm wireless Bluetooth jack for Rapoo headset - how can I substitute!

Hi. Looking for help for those that understand Bluetooth and connections, please.

I have a Rapoo H3070 Bluetooth headset that I LOVE! I get to plug dongle into iPad and then do stuff around the place listening to podcasts without disturbing anyone else around.
Sadly I have LOST the dongle 🙁

I can buy a new complete headset and dongle for $34 as only in stock in Vic and I live Northern rivers NSW. This is the item:

Can I get the below item as a substitute? Wil it connect with my Rapoo as I don't need headset. I don't understand how it all works. It doesn't mention iPads/iPhones - will it work?

THANK you to anyone who can help with my problem.

  • do you need the microphone to work? or just for listening to stuff?

because the Rapoo head units are pre-paired then it might be difficult to find a replacement transmitter.

  • hi alto ic . thank you for your reply. I just need it for listening to podcasts.
So this unit transmitter won't work?

  • Your iPad has bluetooth, so you shouldn't need the 3.5mm adaptor. How to pair from the iPad. According to this review pressing and holding the power button (probably for ~5s or more) will enter the headphones into pairing mode.

  • Hi lupitrt, thank you for the links.
Unfortunately I tried the pairing but as this is the h3070 and not the 3060 sadly it won't pair for me.

i guess the option is to buy the 3060.
Thank you for the help guys.

  • I'm guessing you can try to contact the manufacturer directly through email and if you can include the proof of purchase it will be better for you or photo of the headset if you don't have the receipt. They should be able to provide you the dongle either free of charge or small amount.
