Target has the additional savings on clearance items, I believe. It's 50% off the marked price of clearance homewares so if they were $2 then marked down to $1 the price would be 50c. That's how it worked at Adelaide CBD Target, at least. Some other sections like office supplies and party stuff is only 30% off.
They were reduced to $0.50, less 50%, 25 cents, cheaper than chips
I found quite a few hidden treasures. Four mason square jars for making margaritas for $1 total. I can dump out the comments or drink them, and then reuse the jars. But I had to scan all the items in my basket, because some full price items are right next to the clearance ones.
Looks like I will need to go back there to get some 25c kitchen utensils tomorrow…
