    • +3

Phone is fine! Ha ha ha ZING! What a classic! Let's squeeze every last bit of humour out of it!

      • +5

I'm pretty sure that was accomplished 9hrs and 20 mins ago.

  • +5

Just be careful if ordering drive thru and there's a cop car behind you. You don't want a fine for phone.

    • +1

That's kinda the flaw of the Shake & Win, if you don't have a passenger to shake it and a cop sees you are going to be in a pickle! Even when we're meant to redeem the prize.

    • +4

But that's on private property, would cops have any jurisdiction there?

In the store though, phone is fine.

  • +4

Sorry I'm a bit confused and couldn't find an answer.

Do I have to print these out or can I just show them on my phone ?

  • +9

Here's to you Hungry Jacks Belconnen, train your duty managers better.

I ordered 2 servings of the 10 nuggets and large fries and ended up in an argument with the duty manager.

I ordered my meal through the drive-thru and as I was paying, the duty manager came over and queried the cashier on the cost of the nuggets. Thought nothing of it but when my meal came with 2 small fries I queried the server, she didn't answered just turned around and went for the manager. The manager came to the window somewhat confrontational and stated the meal came with small fries I told him otherwise then he asked what voucher I presented and where I got it from, I showed him the "Phone is fine" voucher on what you do know, my phone.

In comes the rant from the manager stating how that voucher is from SA and here in the ACT blah blah blah, more vitriol… "No such voucher existed". I asked him if he was sure and that other places other then SA happily accepted the voucher.

I then asked him for his name and "explained" to him how I would be contacting "corporate" later as well as asking for my money back, granted all of that wasn't said in a courteous manner on my part but had he not come at me in an aggressive manner to be begin with I might of been more polite myself.

More arguing ensued on both our parts as he refused to give his name. Finally he stated he would go and get a copy of the vouchers available and redeemable at "his" store stating how they would differ from the one I presented. With him screaming at me to show me where the voucher for the nuggets and fries were on his sheet, lo and behold he had presented the exact same voucher sheet as published here, so I kindly for his benefit pointed to it. I could see the colour drain from his face.

In the end I didn't want to leave on bad terms so I offered him a handshake and some kind parting remarks.

PS. Apologies to the cars stuck behind me on the drive-thru, no one beeped so I guess they were enjoying the show.

I'm still uncertain if you need to print, or phone is fine.

    • +5

So what you're saying is that even if the language gets a bit coarse, by comparison, the phone is fine.

    • +2

Mate, just download the vouchers from the main link and show them in store.

      Phone is fine.

    • +2

Phone is fine, even if you get a manager with a pole up his arse who doesn't know their own vouchers and only removes said pole to pull info out of said arse.
It just takes a little more effort.

    • +2

      Lol!!!!

That's what happens when managers are 14 years a old.

  • +22

After reading all the comments..phone is flat

When I was in Vic last year and drove up with my mates, manager said phone was not fine when he saw such a fine large group, he obviously knew we were from Adelaide and can't print fine, so i paid full price because my belly was not fine without food, and that's why us Adelaidians think you Melbourners are fine with being not fine, and that's fine, but if phone is not going to be fine then…… I say fine… and so i haven't had HJ since.
Ok I need to sleep now

    • sleep definitely fine!

    You are too cruel….

  • +2

Imagine if one of the posters here works at Hungry Jacks and decides to troll and say 'phone is not fine' if someone shows the vouchers on their phone :)

    • +2

I've had mixed receptions prior to working for HJs when using them. If you get me, I'll say phone is fine AND give back physical vouchers!

  • Can I get confirmation that this is valid in NSW?

  • Hey just wondering during breakfast time for Hungry Jacks, can we order other meals/food beside the breakfast meals ?

    • Everything apart from Angus!

      • Thank you !!! That includes with the meals on the coupon right ?

        • Sure does.
Just expect longer waiting times as we may not have stuff patties and toppings readily available

    • whopper cheese with a hash brown on it is the breakfast of champions

  • Anyone redeem through drive thru?

  • I am currently sitting in a hj shop, eating my crunchy chicken burgs. Phone is still fine.

  • Opps my bad, they were full whoppers

  • :(
They start 30C per spicy sauce..

  • Some stores still accept the coupons after the expiry date (20 June).

Anyone know if the Mount Waverley store at the corner of Blackburn Road & Highbury Road is still accepting the latest round of vouchers?

    • As long as they're on our registers, we'll accept them.

  • Apparently the new vouchers are out.

  • +1

    Where are the new vouchers?
