Nevermind, just checked myself. Uploaded a 21MP photo, which got downsampled to 4000x3000 pixels (12 megapixel)
That's barely half the original resolution.Buyers beware - you can't create a sharp 20" x 30" print from a 12MP photo!
Even 16" x 20" is borderline (200dpi).
Agree with the poster - would like to see one as to me this is just a glass frame where you cant actually change the photo…
It's not a frame. From the BigW website, "We print your digital image or artwork directly onto the rear glass surface using UV stabilized ink, and seal your print with a vinyl layer for protection and longevity."
Yep - It's printed directly on the glass. I tried printing to glass with my printer at home but for some reason it doesn't work ;)
I bought one of their 20x30 glass prints about 12 months ago (for around the same price $94). The quality was stunning. Absolutely love it. Would definitely buy again

Does anyone know whether their portal still shrinks images down to around 12MP?
I haven't tried them for a while.
