I think so, it has worked in the past.

    • +3

Use the groupon voucher when spending the $200. Then use the $50 voucher separately later on.

  • +2

Can someone confirm if it's spend $200 on multiple items or just 1 item?

    • +2

The $200 spend can be on multiple items, just add them to your cart and checkout once you've hit the $200 mark.

      • -1

How do you know? T&C is not out yet as I am writing this @ 7:24 am 28 June

      • Can it be from different seller?

        • Yes. Though make sure you "Add to cart" and not "Buy it now". The cart must be $200 or more

        • @PBG:
          Thank you!

  • +1

great. I just spend $300+ and forgot to use cashrewards…

    • +10

For $3 it's nearly not worth the time anyway

      • +2

Bruh - do you even Ozbargain?

        • +16

Yeah I do and am getting sick of cash rewards not tracking or it does track you wait three months and then the retailer declines the payment. Happened to me a lot lately, not worth the effort of emailing cash rewards every time it happens for $3

        • -1

@tassieeagle: Never bothered with cashrewards even once. These eBay deals and other sales/discounts are my way of saving some money. Too much time and months of anticipation via "cashrewards" to save a few bucks whenever you make a purchase. Nah, don't have time for that.

  • +1

Got items sitting in my cart waiting for this code to activate..

    • +2

No cashback if you do it like that.

Edit: why the neg? it says as much right here

"Do NOT add products to the ebay wishlist and purchase/bid over 24 hours later - will result in you not earning Rewards."

I wouldn't risk adding items to a wishlist regardless.. just bookmark the items you want to buy.

      • +2

Don't take it too seriously on those random negs here. What you said about cashreward is true. Here is a +ve for you.

      • +1

Wait…Zaychri said "cart"…and you're saying "wishlist"….doesnt seem like the same to me?

        • +3

Do you want to gamble with their interpretation given that you cannot make enquiries? Cashrewards seem to deny more cashback than other sites generally anyway.

I don't see any upside in adding it to cart/wishlist/whatever

  • From experience, Will the shipping cost be included in the $200? Or does the cost before shipping have to add up to $200?

    • Based on previous deals, $200 spend would exclude shipping costs.

  • Does Dell have an ebay store for refurbished laptops?

i am confused, what is the code? and when will it starts?

    • +1

I was confused too. But user 4982 solved all my problems by just one magic sentence: CAN YOU READ?!

      • yeah we all confused cos the T/C weren't up yet at that time and seems everyone already made the purchase
        that's what is confusing.

  • Still nothing today and it ends on 29th June.

  • +2

These insider leaks are pretty accurate :p

    • I rather to see share prices insiders instead

      • Careful about what you wish for, you might end up getting free accomodation for a coupla years as well! ;-)

"Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay coupon/voucher" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    • -1

Thats for the voucher that you will receive, you can pay the $200 with your $100 voucher

      • +1

        what about the appl15/apply25 code?

        • +1

          Not sure what is that

        • Can you link to that deal?

        • @lostn: Here is that deal (targeted so it was moved to the forums): https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/254429

        • @PBG: I saw that offer on the front page of ebay.. I don't think it's targetted. But I don't have an iPhone, so meh.

        • @lostn: It is targeted for sure, some people had $25/$75, some had $15/$50 and some had none at all.

You don't need an iPhone for the deal:

The offer is only valid for purchases made via the eBay App. The eBay App is available for the following operating systems:
          iOS (iPhone and iPad)
          Android
          Windows Mobile

        • @PBG: Oh.

The offer I saw on the front page only said APPLY15, and it said iPhone mobile app. Though I didn't check if the fine print included Android.

Except my offer didn't say $15, but 15% which is potentially better.

      • U sure, was thinking we can't use the app15/25 to make the purchase

  • Hmmm Nexus 5X from JB HI FI or ebay ?!

  • Don't forget you can also buy it using the Velocity eStore for 2pts/$.
Some would value that at more than 1.25% from CashRewards/PricePal

  • +1

how to use? just buy $200+, then get the $50 voucher automatically from ebay?

  • Can you use this with the $15 off using the ebay app?

    • try it and report back

  • And we're on!

  • Do you get a confirmation once you've spent $200? Has anybody got the voucher yet?

    • The voucher redemption code will be available in the voucher section of your My eBay account from 8 July 2016

  • So if I sell a $200 woolworths gift card to someone on ebay, will they get $50 voucher?

    • +2

Hm, well it does exclude gift cards, but maybe if you put it in the BBQs category or something..

      • Ah - I missed the No Gift Cards part..

        • +3

Sell a $200 envelope with a bonus gift card?

  • +2

Would using the 'Spend $75 and get $25 off' on the mobile eBay app work with this?

Ie. Spend $200, get $25 off, and get the $50 voucher as well?

    • Was wandering the same thing lol.

      • problem is what if yes you get your $25 off but in 10 days time you don't get the voucher?
since there are no confirmation on this deal?

    • From the T&C's:
Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay coupon/voucher.

    • I asked the guy on Ebay chat, and he said, yes you can use APPY25 and still qualify for the $50 voucher.

      • +1

Now….is the $200 spend for the voucher, before or after the $25 off from APPY25?

        • +1

By their wording, sounds like spend $200 after the APPY25 discount.

Don't quote me though - they answer their facebook messages super quick if you want to find out ;)

        • @ssx: Is the code targeted offer ? If not, I assume we have to use ebay app and apply the code when we spend $225? Can the code stack with groupon voucher ?

        • @yht: the APPY25 is targeted I think - it shows up when you checkout using the app. I'm pretty sure you have to spend $225 to be able to qualify for the $200 spend. I'm not 100% certain on the spend amount.

I'm 90% certain you can't stack with the groupon voucher - can anyone confirm that?

        • +1

          @ssx:

Yeah confirmed with them that it has to be $200 after the APPY25 discount.

Just impulse bought a kitchenaid hand blender…that i really didn't need!

        • @jonnoyeo: That's what I thought - hoping most people qualified

      • +1

It is strange that I was told through eBay chat that I won't qualify for the $50 voucher if the APPY15/APPY25 was used.

      • -1

Can someone confirm if they have receive confirmation after using APPY25 on app plz.

        • no confirmation…have other people gotten confirmation?

        • @jonnoyeo:

don't think anyone gets confirmation, not yet anyway

  • +1

Good timing. I need to buy something for $59 and have been holding off.

Now to find something to buy for $200… :)

  • Seems the offer will be extended until the 30th, looks like they've put up the wrong banner on the homepage.

    • banner fixed to say 29th June

  • So just to confirm, you don't need any sort of coupon code for this? Just buy something over $200 and you auto qualify? (I got the email advising me of the offer)

  • +2

20% off sitewide would have been much better to close off the financial year

  • can't spend $200 to get $50…. by the way still looking if I can find 'something' I needed for long time or may need in future.

    • +1

      toilet paper!

  • Have received this by email now

  • -2

Sorry if it's been asked, but I couldn't find it in T&C. Is $200 for the item(s) only or for items + shipping?

  • +6

$50 voucher isn't the same as $50 discount. So I will pass this one.

Basically they want you to spend $250 for $200, not $150 for $200.

Difficult to find $200 to begin with

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash?
What If I buy something from my other Ebay account? for $50 ?

    • minus selling fees

    • Yes, paying x% Paypal fee and y% Ebay fee, get $50.

  • Hi Guys, after buying something for $200 do you know when the $50 voucher becomes available? Is it instantly after the purchace, or does it take a couple of days to come through?

    • +1

It says you get the $50 voucher to spend between 8th July and 31st August

  • +3

Can we stack it with the ebay voucher from groupon?

    • wondering the same thing :(

    • I'm thinking no, since it says point 16:

      1. Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay coupon/voucher.

Not really worth saving $15 there and risk $50 imo, unless it is otherwise confirmed first

      • +1

groupon voucher works. That's for the actual $50 voucher it self which will be given out on the 8th. you can't "USE" something that doesn't exist until the 8th.

        Also read the first line:
—By using or attempting to use the redemption code for the voucher, you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.

      • +1

I has worked in the past. but there is a risk

      • -1

Just had a chat with groupon and told me their voucher won't work with any ebay promotion.

  • +1

    Are there any deals?

    • +2

      is that a serious question?

  • Is this a targeted offer? I have multiple eBay accounts and only received one email from eBay.

    • +1

Not targeted, appears on the ebay.com.au home page even when logged out.

  • Does the multiple items refer to using the voucher, or buying the items to qualify for the voucher?

  • As per earlier query, is there any way to know you have qualified for the voucher other than waiting for it to arrive? There's no code to type in during the $200 purchase, right?

    • Unfortunately not it seems, it would be much more reassuring if eBay had some type of visual confirmation that your spend was going to qualify.

      • Yeah exactly

  • Groupon deal gets you $100 for $85. So you end up paying $185 for $200 purchase and still get the $50 voucher. http://m.groupon.com.au/deals/ebay-au

    • "Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay or PayPal coupon/voucher"

This is an ebay voucher code (says on the page linked)

      • +1

I think this is sightly different. Yes, you can't use the $50 voucher with any other coupon. That's normal - they never stack. The question is about using another voucher for the qualifying purchase before you get the eBay voucher. This doesn't involve stacking coupons/vouchers.

  • Why is this promotion not ending on the 30th?? There must be some big promotion on the 30th, their last hora to suck the life of our wallets and leave us broke. :) I'm smelling 20% off everything on eBay on the 30th 1 day only, just wishful thinking. :)
