u realise its an old atom CPU?…they've just included i5 in the title to attract people.

        • +1

that's very perceptive. some people may not see the misleading product name "I5" and not see it is a Z3735F

EDIT - I have removed the misleading product name "I5" from the post.

  • very interesting for using KODI and video streaming, is it good enough to run blueray quality big MKV file ?

Calling this an "i5 Mini PC" is a bit dodgy.
The CPU inside is this http://ark.intel.com/products/80274/Intel-Atom-Processor-Z37…

The brand is i5. Not the processor.

  • Would this be similar to this? http://bit.ly/29Oiqjq

    Specs look pretty similar.

  • This should be $100 under the eBay tech 20% off sale.

    • What can you do with this looking for something to use kodi have sony set up in one tv have a minix ui to get set up on another and looking for something cheaper for bedroom but reliable is this better?

      • I am looking into a stick PC to use as an old gaming emulator (n64, SNES etc).

This is essentially the internals of a tablet, without screen, in HDMI form.

        Punctuation is better.

        • Yeah can't understand much of the question haha

  • Not a great deal. Worth paying a bit extra for a Z8300.

I am negging this deal and suggesting a moderator remove. Poster
    - assumes illegal software included - "Windows is probably not activiated or chinese hacked/KMS method".
    - refers to CPU as "i5" and "Intel Z3735F Quad-core" but fails to mention Celeron. Intentional or not this is misleading.

    • Agree. Commenting so I can neg.

    • +3

I think you are being a bit harsh.
      - An assumption is not necessarily correct.
      - Having the name "i5" is obviously a dodgy ploy, but the OzBargain audience wouldn't be taken in by this for one minute, they are a tough crowd and weren't born yesterday.

    • refers to CPU as "i5"

where does it refer to CPU as i5 ?

      • Description: "Mini PC Quad Core Intel Z3735F…" was originally "i5 Mini PC Quad Core Intel Z3735F…"

        • Yeah I saw that… it still doesn't refer to the cpu as an i5 … anywhere …

        • @snoo:

Yeah using i5 in the title still leads many to that conclusion and is misleading.

        • +1

@syousef: and so does using "PC" as well.

    • The Z3735F is not even a Celeron. It's an Atom processor.

      • Thanks for the correction. Cheers.

  • I'd personally fork out a little more for one that ships with a genuine Windows licence.

  • dodgy name to trick people.. neg
