I think the season pass gives you all the operators "added" during the season (which ends around that date). My understanding is that you still get to keep those operators after the season ends, but you won't get any "new" ones added afterward. If that's the case, it can be worth it for some people.

My understanding is similar to SuperMatty. You don't lose the content after the season ends.
Note that this is directly from Ubisoft. Its not something that we have control over. They may choose to extend the VIP access, they may not. If there are not enough players online - there may not be any new content after this date anyway.
Saying that - I shall go back to Ubisoft and confirm.

a season pass entitles you to a years worth of content, any content released after the end date of the pass needs to be purchased through a new season pass or individually. its how they work but you dont often see a second year season pass

Your site states the season pass is only good until the 1/12/16. Why would anyone pay that much for something which only benefits them for 4 months?
