  • could get No Mans Sky for $68 from Big W's eBay store

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/No-Mans-Sky-PS4-GAME-/29183790196…

    • That's not Big W, it's a private seller. It's cheaper here from this top rated store for $64.76 after code if you wanted to grab it, postage time might be an issue for some though. Otherwise I believe it will be $79 in AU stores at release.

  • Anybody found good price on a good wifi router?

  • Thank you so much! :D

  • Should i pull the trigger and buy a Lenovo Yoga Pro 900 with this discount?
I want the orange one and its $2,044.00 so $1839.6 after the discount, and this doesn't include cash rewards…

Hmmm someone tell me if it's been cheaper or know of any sales at JB / Harvey / etc coming up…..Or else im gonna buy it.

    • Haven't looked but look for lenovo discounts directly. Student codes usually available and work even if not student etc.

  • Any deal on Robo vacuum cleaners or good quality steam irons?

  • I wonder if eglobal will refund my order from last night.

  • Samsung Note 7 all colours (pre order) $1,043.96

Seems to be 'grey import" though

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/222212429078?var=521046708031

    • It's probably not worth it if it is grey import. Someone on whirlpool claimed that you can buy it outright from Virgin for ~$1180, and you will get the bonus mirco-sd card.

    • Yeah grey import. I would reckon wait for a month, till then Iphone7 would be out, and voda will have some really good plans. I am hinting towards the $95 ones for 24 months.

  • I m looking for a Dyson vacumn. Is this a good deal? http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-DYSON-V6-Animal-Handstick-Vacuu…. I

  • Question; is the 10% applied on the actual price or price + postage? I recall doing this before and the code is added very near the end of the transaction right (so should therefore be 10% off overall?)

    • From the T&C's

The offer entitles you to 10% off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $75 or more in one transaction during the Offer Period.

    • Usually the 75 minimum is required, before postage. Not including.

Can't confirm where the 10% off is applied as I can't member either….standing by

  • So theoretically this; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PENTAX-D-FA-SMC-PENTAX-D-FA-Macro… would come down to $630 all up?

    Thanks, bought a Bosch Dishwasher.

This one for $495 + delivery (or free C&C) is an exceptional deal from TGG. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Bosch-SMS50E32AU-White-Freest…

I ended up buying the Choice Recommended Bosch Dishwasher for $627 (free delivery) from PowerlandAU: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Bosch-60cm-Serie-2-Freestandi…

  • qd_au or t-dimension ?

    • I used qd to buy my LG G3 a year ago and it was a smooth, hassle free transaction. Considering using them again to either grab the G5 or S7 Edge. Feedback wise they're a bit ahead of T-Dimension, and OZB feedback on T-D is pretty shocking…

      • I guess the only time it's a headache is when you have an issue and need to exercise warranty. From the other Samsung thread, people are saying qd_au aren't responding to emails regarding their faulty phone. Decisions!!!

        • More of a G4 issue, but I guess both are good enough so just choose the cheaper one.

        • I'm an Ozbargainer and there was $30 at stake so…

        • I'm planning on getting the LG G5. It's a comforting feeling knowing you have rights with warranty and have authorities to back you up, unfortunately this feeling cost about $500 more from local Aust stock!

QD_AU says it ships from NSW, whereas T-dimension ships from Taiwan (but is about $20 less). hmm

        • @Ughhh:
Both will ship from TW. Although in regards to G5 I've heard that bootloop issues have started appearing, I'd personally avoid.

    Yahoo - great timing!

Looking for a good price on a Marantz Sr7010 home theatre amplifier - best I could find was $3299 elsewhere, and was about to pull the trigger

    Just found a new eBay listing for $2990 - with 10%, now down $2691 (+$50 shipping). Saved myself $608 … awesome :)

    • Cool!

    • Good result.

    • Great buy.

    • Well done.

    • +2

You saved over $600 on a deal with maximum discount $300. Right.

      • It seems it was $2990 down to $2691, but he compares that with the $3299 price elsewhere.

      • Yeah, I've spent way to many hours researching this unit and been watching prices for the last month. Best I could get in Australia before was $3299 so it's a big win!

    • +1

That's one serious amplifier for a home theatre system. Wouldn't mind watching a movie or two at your place! Are you buying from a 'known' company eBay store or a small shop owner? I would be worried spending that kind of money on ebay with all the dodgies around, unless it's from a proper company.

      • +1

It's a beautiful 9.2 unit with Atmos and the works. Pretty excited to hear it myself!

You never know completely with eBay but I did check a few things about the seller before buying - has a physical shop focusing on high end HiFI in Notting Hill VIC, has 1046 feedback with 99.6% rating and a member since 2005.

        Hopefully should be okay :)

        • Hope you really enjoy it. That's a seriously good setup. Definitely be well worth it.

Yeah that seems like a reasonable/reputable company. Having PayPal should hopefully also reassure to an extent.

    • You deserve Australian of the year!

  • Can any one find a deal for Iphone 6s 16GB Rose Gold from a legit shop? such as big w or good guys?
I found a few shops such as my-phonez and few other local shops. But I am unsure if I should be buying from them. Is buying from ebay local shop stores is same as buying a iphone from apple store or any other authorized apple re sellers? if there is any issue with the device can I take the device to apple store?

    • +1

Mobileciti have it for $886.32 here after code, which is an okay deal, better than those no name sellers you mentioned. Mobileciti has a store in NSW and are pretty well regarded. Don't know a lot about Apple but it's Australian stock so you have 2 year Apple warranty.

      • +1

Thanks Heaps :) will check it out.

  • Does anyone know if the BingLee 1 year Cold Power/Fairy offer still apply if I buy from ebay?

  • Can this be used for international purchases using the Australian eBay app?

    • +1

I applied it successfully to a USD sale at a US vendor using desktop however I didn't pay for the item after that.

Supposedly there is no references to it being Australian currency/sellers only.

  • Any good washing machine deals? Front loader 8.5 /8 kg samsung/LG. I was watching two models wd14024d6 / WW85j5410iw but they seem to have disappeared from almost all places.

  • Is this coupon available for bid/auction items?
Im selling an iPhone 6s and if so ill try to make it finish earlier so ppl can use the coupon

  • Any good fridges? Looking for <400L, reputable brand.

This is probably better than the Good Guys fridge sale.

  • Does anyone know if this code can be applied if the seller sends me an offer to buy an item?

    • +1

Yes can still apply the code at checkout.

      • Great thanks mate

  • +1

Hi how does this work as a seller?
Will I be paying ebay the 10% different plus the original 10% final value fee at the end?

    • +1

eBay pays for the 10% coupon, you don't pay anything extra - just the normal fees.

  • Does this work if you do a "Best Offer" type of bid? Has anyone tried?

    • Yes you can still apply the code at checkout.

  • it can also be over $75 including the shipping price i got something for 69.99 plus 7.45 post pretty much free shipping

  • Max listing fee is $250. Seems like this could be churned for profit?

    • You need at least ~13.9% profit to get rid of eBay and paypal fees, not to mention postage costs.

Picked up a Xiaomi Air Purifier 2 for $212 (with Cash Rewards Cashback).

    • Which seller did you buy from?

      • Never mind, the two I were looking at were the same seller, just one was priced in AUD and the other USD.

        Cheers, picked one up.

        • I think we bought from the same seller. Looking forward to getting mine. Hope you like yours too ;-)

        • @ihavok: Do you know anything about where to buy the replacement filters?

        • @CheapBrah:

I believe the filters are to be replaced every 3 - 6 months. Some users said they vacuum the dust off their filters to try and use them for longer (as overshopper suggested below).

Best price for the filter that I could find on a recent search was on GeekBuying (Search for 'Xiaomi air purifier filter'). They've been listed a number of times on OzBargain.

I've also seen the filters available on eBay, Ali Express & Everbuying but these were more expensive at the time.

    • Is this the same one or previous generation? According to this, it failed some tests.. https://www.techinasia.com/xiaomis-smart-air-purifier-grave-… .. I gotta say it looks very "sexy". I only trust one brand these days after purchasing various different brands and all broke down within 3 years, to be fair, they all cost me less than $299… However, BlueAir make the absolute best consumer air filters around. I have 3 units at my place which is now 8 years old, they all run 24/7.. never misses a beat. Cost about $500 and passed multiple worldwide HEPA filter tests and won various awards. The filters can be bought from many local retailers for about $100. I replace them once a year, however I find that using a vac works too (e.g. After a couple of months, the HEPA filter will be covered in huge layers of dusts)

      Blueair smoke box test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ6AEntmKqs

      • The one I bought was the second generation. Yes, I did read material similar to what you linked. Apparently, Xiaomi later came back to say that their unit was subjected to a stress test while it was in power-saving mode and hence it wasn't a fair test. I don't know how accurate the testing body or Xiaomi is. Owner reviews were pretty positive though.

Some owners mentioned that they had separate air quality monitoring devices that showed pretty similar values to what the Xiaomi unit was displaying. This gave me a bit more confidence in the product.

Honestly though, I've never owned an air purifier so I don't really know what to expect. I couldn't find any conclusive recommendations (everyone seems to have a different unit they use/recommend). I decided on this particular unit because of the price point and popularity.

Thanks for sharing on Blueair though. If I don't like the Xiaomi, I'll be sure to look closer at the unit you shared :-)

picked up a surface pro 4 w/ keyboard for 1140 delivered (new). the i5 128g one. worked out perfect as the person relisted it at a lower price (it didnt hurt to ask) and ended the auction for me 4 days earlier as it didnt sell the 1st time. +1 from me

  • How often does eBay offers 10/15% off site wide?

    • it seems every other week there is 15% off specific retailers.
the 20% site wide was once off last yr - amazing lol
10% site wide seems to be every few months.

      • +1

We haven't had a 20% off sitewide coupon yet. Here's hoping we should get one this year.

tried to add some USD items to cart, pay via ebay.com.au - no luck.
    Anyone else have luck?

    • +1

I can get 10% off my USD items.

      • Cool. I tried the 'add to cart' then applied code, maybe I need to commit with buy it now first? Risky on a $300 usd item though!!?

    • Same issue

  • Does anyone know if I can still use the code after request total from seller, I can't find the place to enter coupon code in the requesting total page, next step is "commit to buy and send the request".

    Thanks

    • +1

It works just tried it. When they finally send the invoice to you from the seller, it will allow you to enter in your coupon code.
You just have to ensure the invoice comes in before the end date of the coupon code.

      • Thanks for the information.

I just purchased a Nixie tube clock from the Ukraine. Very old skool looking clock. Nice timing for the 10% off.

    • nice! which one did you buy if you don't mind sharing? I am in the market for one as well.

      • Look for "IN-14 NIXIE TUBE CLOCK ASSEMBLED WITH ENCLOSURE AND ADAPTER 4-tubes by MILLCLOCK". Techmoan on youtube has reviewed this model and it appears to be both well made and reasonably priced.

  • Anyone uses One plus three mobile here? I am confused between Note 7 and One plus three. Any first hand experiences would be highly appreciated.

  • Does Anyone found a good deal on the new dyson cinetic big ball multifloor or animal? Looking for one my self but with only 10%+ CR,I am abit hesitant.

  • So turns out you must have an australian based paypal account or the discount does not apply either, its not just buying from ebay.com.au - Applied the voucher successfully then changed the paypal account I was logged in with and the voucher was removed. Tried to reapply and wouldn't work. [in case some of you are wondering why you're not getting the discount]

  • On ebay.com.au, looking to buy some transmission filters from a US seller with no luck!

"This code can't be applied to some of your items."

    Items (3) US $59.85
    Postage US $18.34
    Order total US $78.19

    $100AUD easy.

  • Anyone know if you add $75+ worth of items in your cart and use this when you checkout and pay for everything together? Or does one item need to be more than $75 for it to work?

    • Just spoke to eBay, yes you can add $75+ worth of goods to your cart and pay for everything together. In case anyone else was wondering ;)

  • So tempted to buy lenses…Damn it.

  • made good use of this.

lots of different stuff for the house, a bunch of stuff for the car, and a few things for me!

  • i am about to buy an auction that requires the seller to give a freight cost. I need to 'Request total from seller'

there is a note that says

"You'll commit to buy these items when you submit your request for a new total below. You can also remove these items from this request to continue."

so would i get the 10% off if i enter the voucher code… or not?

The seller would probably get back to me in a few days (I have got the freight cost earlier, given to me by the seller)

  • Thanks, bought a Nintendo game and watch Donkey Kong 2 with box for $117 after discount :)
