NASA Makes All Scientific Research Available FREE

4580

NASA has just announced that any published research funded by the space agency will now be available at no cost, launching a new public web portal that anybody can access. The free online archive comes in response to a new NASA policy, which requires that any NASA-funded research articles in peer-reviewed journals be publicly accessible within one year of publication source

Yet another Jewish mercenary for hire come to convert more unknowing internet users.

Notice how you quoted me 3 times? How you used the ellipsis (…), a classic sign of the Illuminati, which has 3 periods? Notice how you used the Jewish codeword "Erm," which has 3 letters, another prominent sign of the Illuminati?

Instead of actually attacking my arguments with evidence of your own, you use ad hominem attacks calling me and other enlightened people like me "conspiracist nutjobs." Well don't come crying to me when NASA uses mind control pills to take over your brain's functioning.

I can now plan my own mars mission. Watch out NASA, competition just started!

Low Mass Electromagnetic Plasmoid Thruster with Integrated PPU Project

I'm going to have a crack at one of these this weekend. My local bunnings opens at 7am so will post results after midday

    • What about UFO anti-gravity technology? Are they using some kind of magnetic propulsion?

      • Same but different

      • Gravity =/= magnetism, unfortunately…kinda throws a spanner in the works.

If you are successful you will be around 30 light years away so we will get you post some time around 2046?

      • +2

I'll backdate the nurdle flange to ensure that doesn't happen.

    • +1

      Is it ready yet?

Good to know but irrelevant for 99.9% of this forum hahaha

    • More like 100%

  • Over the moon about this deal!

    • We know you're lying.

    • +1

Full moon last night. Should have gone then. Easier to spot

  • Once in a while a thread comes along that brings all the weirdos out into the light.

    This is such a thread.

    (Gimme a HEY if you're a weirdo!)

    • HEY

    • YO!

      I mean HEY!

HEY This one's an imposter! Kill him!

        • Only 4!?! The rest of you are liars

Can I find out how NASA manipulated the global warming data that Dr. Brian Cox presented

    • +1

They presented it to people who found it not to their liking and somewhat inconvenient.

  • You can also download lots of publications from National Academy of Sciences
    http://www.nasonline.org

  • Any publish info regarding to EmDrive?

  • Cool time to read up on wireless energy.

  • +4

All publicly funded (non-national security) research should be mandatory open access imo.

  • +1

From now on all updates on ozbargain will come with an obligatory "as developed and used by NASA"

  • +2

Struggling to see how this is a deal? Seriously plenty of research is already released for free without any restrictions on release date.

    • +2

Agree. Not a deal to a 'typical' OzBargainer. A few up-votes are understandable but over 200? Doubt anyone's really gonna access any article tbh……

      • +3

STEM Teachers use research like this in education programs across the country. With cuts to education, anything teachers can access for free is a total bargain.

        • Yes we all know that all active Ozbargainers are secretly science teachers

  • I didn't know there were so many aerospace engineers on OzBargain.

    • It because they all know how to manipulate themselves empirically.

  • -4

Disgraceful that this takes up the space of real deals. Take this elsewhere

  • Typical. Just bought a research paper last week when it was 40% off. Anyone been successful in getting refunds from www.russiangypsies.com?

  • I finally found a good example of a free research paper. Still need a simplier version though.

  • kool freebie! Love the images!

  • +1

Aren't they all free via Sci-Hub anyway?

    • +2

Plus many free articles on Google Scholar.

Not new, not a deal, but they did recently release a whole heap of new technologies into the public domain. From what I have read, you would need a lot of seed money to start using and potentially profiting from most of it.

  • Just finished watching the real life NASA Documentary called The Martian where the presenter Matt Damon is stuck on Mars. I've always wanted to read the Mars research notes from it so i can grow veges on a distant planet. Thanks NASA.

My name has been on 2 space missions to low orbit so does that mean I'm qualified?

    • +1
      • Drats, knew I was missing that important education.

    • +1

I forgot about that, I sent my name to mars back in the early 2000's too, and I am getting really good at growing potatoes in mine and my friends own poop, Sign me up Scotty!

  • now all journals please follow suit..struggling with university cutting down access to journals - and they want evidence based work..

  • nice try nsa
