Thank you for your interest in the Amazon app. This program is only for customers without a previous sign-in to the Amazon app. Our records indicate that you have signed in previously and are therefore not eligible.

    • saddness for me too

    • I got the same. I don't even remember ever using the Amazon app.

Is there any form of confirmation that we did everything correctly? I downloaded the app and installed it but haven't seen an email or anything to confirm the gift card

"You should see an email with $5 gift card redemption code within 7 days"

  • I just got the email, entered in the voucher and got told it has been redeemed by another account

    • Same, redeemed by another account

    • update: all good now.

"We made an error previously and accidentally sent you an invalid gift card code. Our apologies! Below is your valid $5 gift card for signing in to the app for the first time. "

  • Just got my voucher . Redeemed successfully on old account

    • Did you also use the referral? And did they both work?

I also got the "Redeemed by another account". Support said that they applied a new $5 to the account, however it doesn't seem to be stacking with the app referral credit.

  • got my voucher last night (obtained from creating new account), redeemed successfully on my old/existing account. Thanks EC
