no. We ship it from overseas mate. Coz we ship the item globally, and logistic and couriers are more convenient in Hong Kong (like Hong Kong post is doing very good globally). Our founders have been doing business in Australia for 20-30 years, so we care about Australia market.

The depot in China is in the tax free area between Hong Kong and Shenzhen China. Hong Kong Post or China Post won't make any difference in terms of deliver quality for Australia customers as they will past to Australia Post after arriving to Australia. If you purchase more items, our system may give you other courier options like Australia Post(yes, OZ Post now have overseas branches). Hope it clear enough, we don't want to hide anything.

Yep i know, I visit almost every year. Not sure if there would be a no mans land within the actual border between HK <-> SZ, I've only seen mainly tobacco & alcohol shops in this part.

You are totally wrong on this.
Hong Kong had high quality, in term of speed, which normally if I post something from HOng Kong by Hong Kong post it get delivered within 6-10 business days to SYD metro. Whereas China post may take up to 20 Business day.
There are lots of seller put Hong Kong as item origin but it is actually post it in China using China post, most of the time the one say item from China charge more than the item from China.
I have queried about this to the seller actually base in China and they ask me if Hong Kong is part of China this kind of bull.
Please don't try to fool people here in Ozbargain , Hong Kong post and China post DO make different , Hong Kong post come in a higher price in term of postage compare to China Post.

Customer service have offered a full refund, but now want me to find out how much postage costs for tracking and non tracking to China. I don't have the time. I asked for the address of the Australian office, but they won't tell me. Must be sent back to China warehouse.

Why is the 256gb Up to 95MB/s Read and 90MB/s Write speed while the rest are only read and write speeds of up to 80MB/s and 20MB/s. Arent they the same range evo+ ?
