T&Cs seem to be a bit old:
"This offer commences at 10.00 (AEDT) on 13 October 2015 and ends at 23.59 (AEDT) on 19 October 2015"

      • Mistake, terms weren't up last night.

        • Could be an old code too? Just tried it and eBay said it had expired.

        • @Saron: yeah, just looked and it seems the same offer was running last year at those times, will revert the post.

        • @TheClipIt: Yeah, looks like last year's T&Cs + code. Could be preparing to update it for a new round this year - here's hoping!

        • @Saron: tested the terms last night while guessing what the code may be, they didn't show anything then. Expecting them to be updated soon.

  • I know this will be a long shot but do they allow delayed delivery? I ask this because were moving in a couple of weeks.

    • +1

Yes, I was in the same situation waiting for my house to be built. They were ok to deliver my fridge 6 weeks after my purchase.

      • where can you request the delayed delivery?

        • +1

I wrote it in the comments when i checked out and then gave them a call and quoted my order number. Just make sure you call them the same day to be on the safe side.

        • +1

          @kazispeed:

that's great. thanks, now will just wait for the deal to be active again.

    • +1

Choose store pickup, then call a couple of hours later and let them know you are away for a little while. Then when you get back, arrange delivery with the store directly.

I did exactly this with a washing machine during a previous 20% off ebay sale

      • I'd probably do this as I cannot see any comment section when trying to checkout. Thanks!

  • In typical form they removed the camera I had my eye on

  • +1

Have added a 65" KS8000 to my cart, just in case this deal happens! :D

    • Can't find the 65ks8500 though.

    • Just letting you know it was $3695 at TGG eBay a few days ago. Unfortunately it reverted back to its current price yesterday morning (I had it saved in my cart).

  • So does anyone actually know when this deal may go live? I am after an LG OLED TV so if it is soon then it is great timing!

  • +1

Best 49-50inch TV? 1080 is okay, doesn't have to be UHD…

  • -2

Oh, can you price match against an eBay sale?

    • I dont think so

  • +4

    10kg F & P Washing machines just increased by 10%.

  • Anyone comparing a Hisense 65M7000 to a Samsung 65KS8000? Tossing up between these 2 models…..

    • +1

      Comparing $2400 to $4000??

Hisense better bang for buck obviously

      • Agreed. Just wondering if the extra $ is worth it. The Hisense has had good reviews.

        • i had the previous 65" 3D model, and was very happy with the picture. However i never really used any apps, apart from youtube a couple times & it was slow/laggy pathetic. Also, intial startup was a pain, taking about 3mins before everything has settled down ready to go.

        • I've been deciding between these models as well. Finally got around to bringing a USB stick full of samples with me to a store yesterday to compare. I thought the Samsung was a bit better, but not $1200-$1600 better. Think I'll be grabbing the Hisense when a good deal comes along.

    • Me too now. :D

  • The landing page has been updated, previously it only worked on desktop. Now it works on mobile as well. Obviously getting ready to start soon.

  • +1

When do you think that it may go live?

    • Sometime……..,

      • +1

Come on you can do better than that! Have a stab in the dark or just make an educated guess!

        • +6

10:00am AEDT sometime in October 2016.

        • @TheClipIt: I'm guessing not today then :(

        • @51kabunka: id wait until the tech sale ends at least.

        • @TheClipIt: makes sense. I thought the tech 20sale ended last night ;)

  • Aargh!! Impatiently waiting for this deal to start!!

    • Nothing live now.. Mustn't be today…

    • +3

I reckon it will go live tomorrow at the earliest, once this current eBay tech sale finishes tonight (October 10). If not, later this week.

      • When everything goes up 10%, then you know its close.

  • following - keen to buy a new soundbar this week!!!

    • here we go - my item price has changed. still not full RRP but its gone up since last night!

      • weird - but the price has been adjusted down now - wonder if anyone from TGG is monitoring this forum…

  • Are macbooks part of this sale?

    • Do TGG sell MacBooks?

      • hmm.. Over excitement kills logic sometimes. ;)

      • +1

I think they do on their own site, but not on eBay

      • TGG did an epic MacBook 12" sales on eBay last year, the cheapest MacBook 12" ever. I have not seen any MacBook deal on TGG eBay since that deal.

        • Just searching through the TGG eBay store it looks like they don't sell them or have removed them for this sale.

  • Has there been an "unconfirmed" 20% off Good Guys eBay sale before? I don't mind waiting for the sale to come online but the frustrating part is not knowing when. If you are subscribed to their eBay store will they send you an email regarding it?

    • +1

Yup, exactly a year ago. Makes me think that this is legit.

  • +1

I'm predicting it will be up this Wednesday. Time to get a UE Boom 2.

  • +1

They've taken off the Dyson V8 absolute I was watching, gits.

    • Sounds like it's going to start soon.

      • +2

Just in case it gets listed again it was $849, all they've done is lose a sale as I won't bother with them.

Bastards just removed a dishwasher I had in my cart…. It's gonna be on for sure

  • Does anyone think that the discount will be capped? I I read that they have previously been capped at $500 and also $1000.

  • I also had an item in my cart. I just clicked on the item and while the item is still in my cart and at the same price it states that the "item listing has been revised". I wonder how long till it goes live…

  • +4

Guessing it's going to go live 10:00am AEDT tommorow.

    • +1

      Agreed
Im totally with you on your prediction :)

  • +1

Most of the freezers went up by 10%.

  • I was thinking of picking up the LG 60UH850T for $2995 from this sale if it goes ahead. LG currently have a $300 cash back with this TV so with 20% off it will mean you basically pay $2100 for the TV which seems like a steal.

Only problem is this clause in the T&C's..

    Purchase does not include: (i) rental payment plans under 18 months; (ii) lay-buys or pre-orders; (iii) commercial or business transactions involving the purchase of more than three (3) units total of Participating Products; (iv) purchases via eBay or other online bidding or auction;

so I guess buying from Good Guys via the ebay store excludes this TV from getting the $300 cash card from LG?

    • +1

I don't think they'll know cause the docket/tax invoice would just show TGG and nothing to do with eBay as far as I have experienced so far anyway.

      • Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'd be doing in store pick up as well so I'd guess the receipt would just be like any receipt as if you'd bought it in the shop?

    • Avoid LG! They all suffer (except for OLED) from terrible dirty screen effect. Spend a bit more and get a Samsung.

      • This was the other one on my radar.. UA55KS8000W Samsung 55inch which will be $2000 if 20% off and you get 36000 velocity points as well.

        • +1

A much better buy and a true bargain at $2000 with the 36,000 VP included..

This deal is officially a go!

    Code: CGOOD20
    Max Discount: $1000
    Max Transactions: 3
    End Date: 17 Oct

    • have you purchased? did the code work? None of the links to the T&C's or products work from the ad, so im not too sure of committing to buying something yet.

      • You can always add to cart to test if any code works or not
You'd be insane to commit to buy just to test a code !

    • says the code is not yet ready when I try

    • Wow neg votes for giving the heads up, thanks. Hope you dont always toss your toys out of the pram when you have to wait a few hours for things.

  • Nice spotting

  • +1

Code not ready. Also found wont let me go to checkout with multiple items with different combinations of pickup & post (some items werent in stock at my local store)

  • Yep I'm the same… errors out when you go to Checkout.

  • Sony KDL55W800C 55" FHD LCD TV $1195 to $956 with 20% off, not a bad price :D

    Will snatch one up soon!

  • Hi guys, which soundbar should I buy from tgg ebay store? Yamaha 203 is my top pick atm. Any better suggestion?

    • Hey mate, i've been doing alot of research the past few months, the Y203 was not as good as the Yamaha YSP-1600 (however almost triple the price). After listening to around 7-8 soundbars the Samsung HW-K651 Soundbar i thought sounded the best. RRP of $849, got it for $477 30min ago :)

      • I got a LG TV, think LG soundbar any good? Why the Samsung over the rest though?

        • I have a panasonic TV, and was really looking and hoping for a good quality panasonic soundbar, but there isnt. The samsung soundbar does everything i need it do to, its got: HDMI input and output, HDMI ARC, bluetooth, optical… everything I need it do to. I tested the LG ones, but the Samsung imo sounded better.

        • @lemons4lime: The "virtual" surround effect is better with the Samsung too? That's one thing I focus on

      • Aiks, just realised the Samsung 651 is not black color, doesn't match my TV and furniture >.<

  • +1

As it currently stands Samsung Gear VR is $149 and will come down to $119.20 with the 20% off.

  • Has anyone had experience pricematching in-store? Have some vouchers I want to use towards purchase.

    • They wont do it. eBay would surely be covering the difference here. A lot of these prices after voucher would be under cost.

  • Noticed some of the TV prices include the current advertised specials discount and have been on sale for a while already. The eBay listings for these current already discounted TV specials says it expires on Friday 05.30 or 22.30. Prices may revert back to there retail prices before the 20% off ends on Monday.

  • Landing page is live. 40 minutes till code is live.

    • cant find anything on ebay regarding the sale

  • Window AC's are all inflated.
    KWH20CRE -
    GG: $589
    Appliances Online: $479

    KWH15CME -
    GG: $489
    Appliances Online: $439

Splits though don't look too badly priced.

  • Majority of the things I want to purchase are actually really good prices in this sale… thanks for the early post which stopped from buying at a higher price :)

  • Thanks @TheClipit !!
is there a way to use VISA cash card for online transaction ?
any retailer matching this price in-store ? (may be too early to ask)

  • Thanks OP! Picked up the V6, all live now :)
