    • Got one too. Enjoy <3

Thanks for registering for The Good Guys digital catalogue - Use code LHSC0000253196 for $25 OFF ticket price with a MIN SPEND $50. Exp 11/10/16 T&Cs online.

      • That disappeared quickly.

  • Bought Bosch SMS88TI01A dishwasher after seen really good reviews on product review website. Very happy with the 20% discount.

    • I think they have increased the price on this unit- I saw it at $1449 yesterday, now listed at $1525.

      • It was $1499, I took screenshots 2 days ago. It does have good reviews, although finding decent honest reviews is hard for dishwashers.

        • We bought this during the last Good Guys 20% kitchen sale - very happy with it so far. :)

Do you reckon Officeworks would price-beat the new GoodGuys price after the discount?

    • Nope

      • I might still give it a go..They honour online Australian deals normally, so if I showed them on my phone that I can click and collect the tablet I want for $172.80 rather than $216.00 then why wouldn't they?

        • They dont price match ebay

        • @aldoduco: That's disappointing - it's their competitor online. Seems like a bit of a 'small print' detail.

        • @churchado: The Good Guys retail shops are not the same as "The Good Guys Australia" Ebay store. They are associated, but not the same business; hence no price matching or price guarantee.

        • @51kabunka: I don;t think that matters - it's still a competitor.

Coupon offers not accepted. It's in their fine print. Really can't advertise that they have the lowest prices guaranteed if they don't actually match what you can realistically purchase from a competitor.

  • Has anyone tried to ring and check if they can Click & collect from a different store after purchase? I am after few appliances and the cost of delivery is racking up when each is about $40-$50. They show my local store in Campbelltown out of stock. Otherwise I have to click & collect from multiple stores.

I’m just having an awful time buying from their eBay store right now. There’s almost a complete lack of customer service and any contact you make with them is almost guaranteed to be unsatisfactory. I would advise everyone to look very carefully through their order before putting it through.

    • My item was listed as in stock;but just got a call to say it's on order… Bad form and misadvertising

  • Man! I bought a washing machine from TGG last week when the $100 off over $500 spend promotion was on, and I am at disadvantage for over $100 compared to this 20% off eBay deal. I am ripped off! :(

PS: It isn't even a week since I made that purchase, so is there anything I can do to have them reimburse me in any way? Or I am screwed for good and there's nothing I can do now? Any advice, or past experiences similar to mine, will be greatly appreciated.

Grin and bear it I'm afraid - am in the same boat. Bought an oven and dishwasher that were on 'special' and I thought I was getting a good deal. However, even after they put the prices up a bit, I'd still be approx $150 better off if I had waited a couple of weeks and bought them now. :/

      • That sucks, mate! My purchase was just last Saturday and the delivery on Sunday. This deal was posted, but it was still unconfirmed so I thought I would better take advantage of the 100 discount before they jack the prices up.

To my surprise, the regular price of the washing machine that I bought has actually gone down for $21, and with the 20% discount I could have saved a lot. Hate when shit like that happens. :(

    • unfortunately out of luck..

I bought TV from JB and paid over $500 more. Asked them if they could give me the difference but unfortunately they can't do it with eBay deals, fair enough I suppose but I really wonder how many angry customers this is going to produce given the regularity of these sales. Now that JB bought GG, I thought they wouldn't allow offers like these anymore. They benefit the consumer at the right time, but anger those who have already bought. Wouldn't be so bad if JB would have some decent sales and get involved with offers like these now and then, seems like these days they are usually more expensive than anywhere else and rarely have a genuine bargain!

    • You can ask them kindly first if they can refund the difference and sometimes depending on who you get may assist you, if that does not work most washing machines except proforma brand have 14 or 21 days DOA return policy (not change of mind) Tell them the unit does not work and you need a refund. You may not get a refund all the times but possibly a store credit. Use it for a future purchase but look out for the validity period if it is a store credit.

Sometimes being nice helps, if not you got to do what you have to do to save your hard earned money.

  • Drives me bonkers when they don't have the stuff I want on their eBay store.

  • i was looking at the dyson big ball vacuum 2 days ago - now there are no dyson vacuums on their site (other than hand held units). bugger!

guys, I am wanting to buy the Bosch WAW28460AU 8kg Front Loader from this sale, but I can't actually pick it up until the 13th of next month. Would I be silly to buy it now, and would Good guys even hold it for that long? thanks!

    • I'm in the same boat. Would like to know too.

Anyone has bulky orders to be picked up at the local Good Guys, and then negotiate the delivery/installation/removal of old items with them?

  • For some reason they up the price for LG washing machine WD12021D6 to $749 which was $636 this morning and after lunch. Also the same on TGG web site but it advertise on the catalogue should be end on 20Oct.

Found that it is $749 on the catalogue but for some reason it was $636 online.

Anyone bought washing machine from their online store before? Is the delivery includes installation and take away the old one?

    • Likewise - I was looking at buying a Hisense TV and they jacked up their EBay listing by $100 today (left their website the same). I will be holding off on this purchase now……

  • Just received a call saying that a seagate external 4tb and Nikon ws130 that I bought yesterday are out of stock (despite “having” stock in their eBay store at the time of purchase). What a joke!

  • Bought a new oven , no stock at my local store, saved a few hundred so the $35 freight was ok.
I tried to get a bluray player today same thing no stock at my local store, wasn't too much of a savings for a $100 palyer when I would have to pay freight

  • Bought a new microwave, Samsung 40L ME6144W for $134. All ready for pick up, YAY!

  • They dropped the price for the LG washing machine a lot after the deal expired.

Of course with the 20% off still more discount but not that much now.

$636 to $573 and some bought at $749 before discount lol.

    • Because of the Bing Lee eBay deal is not active, they jack the price back up .. lol
