      I escalated all 3 of my purchases.

      I received 2 replies (amex-issued amex cards) wihtin a few hours saying they've initiated the credit manually for me and should see it in 3-5 days.
      The 3rd (ANZ-issued card) has not replied yet, it's been half a day. Hopefully they come back with the same response.

      I'm going to have to get the wife to email Amex about her two cards as well then.

      I also have the email Hilton about why they double charged our cards as well.
