      That E43V15B-AU is a bargain
      $499
      WAS $399
      -$100.00 OFF

      • depends on panel

  • Can anyone comment on the quality of the picture? Wanting something that is at least suitable for a bedroom TV

    • ive had the 55" FHD in the bedroom for a while. Viewing angle isnt great as i have it higher than the bed level. From straight on it looks good though. Depends on your setup

    • I use this in my bedroom, mounted on wall and stream everything to it via the Chromecast. Perfect. Sluggish controller but I use my phone for the chromecast, Netflix, plex etc.

Picture quality is not an issue and happy to use this to watch movies/tv shows before bed. I have a 60" Sony in Media Room and 55" Samsung as my main tv too.

    • I have the 55". The picture quality is absolute garbage.
Bad colour washout. Soniq have no idea about colour gradation.
This is aside from the tv now on a constant reboot loop.
      Soniq are rubbish.

    • I've had this model for a bit over half a year now and i couldn't ask for anything more considering the really cheap price. The quality is honestly fine and though it's not as sharp as higher end brands, it serves well as a bedroom TV. Couldn't be happier.

    • Not on par with those mainstream manufacturers, colours a bit off, speakers sound pretty low end, but good in value as a budget TV.

Speaker sound on the Soniq's are pretty poor/tinny.
And most (all?) dont have an headphone out socket (for speakers etc) - instead they only have a TOSLINK optical output.. so if you want a Soundbar in the bedroom, needs to be one that supports optical input.

  • Good for the price but gee compared with 65" it looks like a time capsule to the stone age.

  • I have an older model soniq, probably the model before this. While the screen itself is fine for a bedroom TV, assume everything else on the TV sucks. Remote signal is terrible and laggy, the go back to last channel button takes me to a random channel, epg basically just shows you whats on now, not whats on next etc. So even if its for the bedroom I would be testing out the tv instore before buying.

  • This or the TCL 40inch via governament appliance replacement offer?

  • I bought one of these when they were on sale, for $280 I think?

Use it in my bedroom with a Chromecast. Picture is actually very decent for the price, and so far it has help up well I have no complaints about the TV!

As will often be mentioned with cheap TVs, sound is pretty shabby but really not enough to bother me, and I can be quite pedantic with stuff like that.

All in all, very solid for the price I would say.

  • Bought one of these for the same price from the last OzBargain deal on them. It's great for the price. Clear HD free-to-air viewing. I plugged a 2TB hard-drive into it with 1,800 video files on it and it only reads the first 100 files (in alphabetical order). If you're expecting a spectacular TV experience for $299, you'll be disappointed. The biggest complaint I have with it is the remote - it's bulky and feels cheap (because it is). In short, it's a great option for the spare bedroom or the kids rumpus room.

    • Does it really have IPS screen?

I got a 51" plasma, I love it. Sound doesn't faze me. Remote control stopped working though. And it's the TV as well cause the remote world's on other TV s. Beyond that, I love my TV, it's just a giant monitor for me.

  • I've got this in the back shed. Good enough for streaming content onto or the footy.

  • I bought a different model a few years ago, the T2E40W13C, so YMMV.
Picture quality is horrible, no blacks, dark scenes rendered in graduated reds. Speakers are horrible, very tinny sound. User interface is terrible, laggy, takes seconds to change channels.
I did my research before buying and read reviews starting the picture quality was alright, however this was definitely not true.
If you're going to be put off by bad picture quality, do not buy a soniq

    Any good for Gaming?

  • For a dumb TV this price plus Chromecast just can't be beaten

  • This better than the GVA sale?? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/270480

    • I think GVA was better.

  • Got a Soniq two years ago. It died after one year and had a distinct reddish tint… never again.

    • Did you ask for a replacement (due to red tint) during its Soniq or (2+ year) Australian statutory warranty ?

  • Anyone bought the tv could give a feedback? Looking for a bedroom tv

  • back up to $399 now
