    Went through the process ended up being Express Courier Service: $17.86 + Handling Fee: $6.83 = $24.69 AUD

    Had no option other than express courier service, wasted my time.

          There is a significant difference between "Free - single vision lenses" (as per the OP) and the actual T&C: "Free - single vision 1.50 index lenses". Given that the website forces a login to create a set of glasses, I don't know how significant that difference is in terms of cost.

          It would be clear if you can answer the following:
          What levels of prescriptions does the website/system support?
          What is cost for other index lenses?

          We offer prescriptions for the spherical power from -18 to +10 and the cylindrical power from -4.5 to +4.5.
          Also, both single vision lenses and bifocal/progressive lenses are available on our site.

          Not sure about a positive vote, but no need for a negative anymore.
          For my prescription the price of the 'free' glasses works out to be the same as what I pay now.
          But I know I can claim my current glasses on my Health Insurance so I don't see any reason to change or suggest this is an outstanding deal, since it's far from 'free' for me.

We actually have lots of other styles which are no more than $39 USD and we offer great deals periodically. It would be nice if you are willing to share us with your friends who are in need of prescription glasses.
