Here is the email i got:

Most definitely is, though the cable length is annoyingly short….

      • I know right! It's only like 50cm!

I bought the BT version when it first came out. Really good cooker so would fully recommend it to anyone considering buying it. Here is my code, only thing I ask is to please post to say that you have used it so save others time trying a code that has already been claimed.

    anova2-2sb7769s

    • Thank you very much. I just nabbed your code. Much appreciated. :)

    • Thanks :). I just used the code. Looking forward to some sous vide meals!

  • Anyone got a spare working code?

  • Same, out much appreciate a spare code.
    Thank you in advance.

  • Seems like the Bluetooth + WiFi model is sold out.

I'm hoping they'll be back in stock next week for the black Friday sale and I can get one at this price. Keep missing out on the codes. :)

    • my email after purchasing the BT model said it would arrive between 7-12 December

  • Another one needy of a code please :) love you xoxo

    Post if you've used it.

    • I just used this code. Thanks so much!

  • Would love a code as well if someone has one!

  • will everyone just be using zip lock bags?

  • Codes please? pm me if you can! I need two as my friend is super keen and he doesn't go on OzB

    • all the more reason for him to join OzBargain

  • Can someone PM the Code? Because this will make a wonderful Christmas present for my mother, who is a cooking gadget freak.

  • Heard so many things in the past to not cook in plastic. So not sure if cooking in water and wraps any safe or healthy.

  • Wifi model says it has sold out :-(

  • Can anyone recommend a good brand of zip lock bags or where to buy them for cheap?

    • +1

I use the ziplock branded bags from costco. Thicker material than your supermarket ones, and double zip. I have both the gallon size and the quart size, but the gallon size doesn't fit very well in my 8L pot, so I find I split up the food into 2 of the smaller quart bags if using the pot.. I also have a large 15L plastic container that the bigger bags fit into, so pick based on the size of the water recepticle.

      • What do you cook in them regularly? :)

        • Steak (lamb and beef), chicken, meatballs, burger patties, sausages, fish, pork chops, chocolate (melting), crème brulee.. Still mastering veg… It's hard to get the air out of the bag with veg, So the bag just floats on top. Also cooked big batches of soup and Bolognaise and frozen in the bags, then heated from frozen ready to serve in the sous vide. Also tried cooking a boneless pork roast in the sous vide, finished it off in the oven… Meat was great, crackling was gross!

I just used anova2-b9stbs45 which was from a Canadian forum. Seems each code has a couple of uses.

    • can you share more please?

      • I literally just googled anova code and limited it to results in last hour, it's global so there are loads of forums discussing the codes.

  • If anyone has a spare code to share can you please PM me? Much appreciated!

  • Any spare code to share please? Thanks in advance.

    Anova Precision Cooker
    Bluetooth $149 <—- $229
    Wifi $189 <—- $259

    • The email I received this morning (I'm a subscriber, not a customer) said the BT would be $99 US on Black Friday and said 4 days to go…
      $99US is $134 Aussie.

I tried the code black friday the system didn't reject it, but the price stayed at $189 (Wifi)

  • A code for $100 would be awesome. If someone could PM me a code that would be much appreciated.

  • If anyone has a spare code and isnt using it, I would love to have one.
    Thanks guys

  • Where do I input the code??? Or is it finished?

    • You no longer need a code. It is already that price.

      • Its $159 with the code but $189 with the current discount. (BT+WiFi)

      • Yeah, it's $30 more than what you get with this code?

        • Still hoping for a code

        • @jobski: me too, but as per my initial comment, I think they took away the ability to enter a code in their ordering process now?

  • So this works by heating and moving the water, correct? I can't help but wonder how much heat is lost through having no top on your pot. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

    • Nothing stopping you from putting foil over the top for instance, to reduce the heat and evaporation losses..

      • But would the food then overheat, or does it have a proper thermostat built in?

        • +1

its a smart PID controller… it works it out

        • Thank you. :)
