    Transcend uses 16nm TLC NAND from Micron, while the MX300 uses the newer 3D TLC NAND from Micron/Intel.

    MX300 uses the latest controller from Marvel, a known consistent performer, while the Transcend is using the new and unproven Silicon Motion controller.

    I would definitely go for the MX300, although to be fair, I wouldn't say the Transcend ssd is of lower quality than the Crucial.
