Heh. I was on live chat previously and got $10 credited. Now I got another $10 via this email.

20USD off my next 256GB or 512GB flash drive purchase, sweet :D

  • damn it… i saw the $10 credit yesterday but didn't buy anything, now its gone…

  • Got a courtesy credit of $10 from Amazon yesterday as I couldn't use the $10 offer despite activating it. Ended up using the credit for this. Shipping charges kill the deal though. There's no free/low shipping on low priced items.

  • I got $20 courtesy credit and then the $10 email. A week ago I got $25 courtesy credit for the American Express promo that was advertised on the website but was not working

    • nicely done

    • That's a lot of potential black marks against your account.

      • It's not hard to make another account

        • Exactly. Think this black mark concept is a crock. Highly doubt they would kick paying customers.

        • @hazzad:

True. If they ban my IP, I will use a mobile connection. If they ban my address, I can use a parcel locker .

      • Lol pathetic if they put black marks on your account if you take advantage of their glitches. Should punish the people who are behind the website errors, not the customers.

  • Is anyone able to use their courtesy credit? I just tried and it looks like nothing was deducted… I had it before but never used it.

    • Successfully applied it to an order a few days ago.

  • Just found apology email from Amazon in my other account. Thanks to those who posted the heads up.

  • for some reason my one wasn't getting applied. Amazon live chat said it had expired even though it's meant to be expire 2017. They put in a request with their promotions team to check

  • I had the credit, tried to buy something today and its gone. Tried live chat and they guy just kept saying sorry it expired. Negative vote for this one.
Why run a promotion when you cant fulfill it..

  • Can't neg my deal. Pathetic Amazon - spoke to their livechat, said they will apply the credit after a day… waited nothing, now wont get it.

contacted them again and got this:

    Patrick: Thank you for waiting
I've checked all the records of your last representative and i can't see any records.

They claim to not have any transcript history where they stated the credit will be applied………………………………..

    • too much effort to chase the $10. :P I just won't try to do anything about these "loopholes" anymore.

  • As always, it depends who you get and it definitely pays to be nice considering they are under no obligation to give you a credit. I was polite and succinct and a 'Krish' from Amazon credited my account with $10 as I was unaware of the promotion expiry. Took all of 5 minutes. Always pays to save the transcript or take a screenshot of the chat though.

  • True but when you have one person saying they will fix it, only to end the chat with no changes done to your account afterwards - its a waste of time and only would make the customer not happy.

  • This was a good one, waiting for another. :)

  • Had anyone order anything successfully using the courtesy credit? Does it have to use the the Amazon mobile app for the order? Thanks.

I had $10 courtesy credit, tried placing order today on my computer didn't see it's applied

  • Ok so it's been more than a month since I ordered The Division PC through Amazon using this $10 credit and it still hasn't arrived. There is no option to get it sent out again, just an option for a refund so I am starting to think nothing was sent. They gave an Australia Post tracking number which says "yet to be scanned". More like scammed.

Disappointed because I bought the season pass from the Ubi shop for $25 last week expecting the game to arrive, so now I'm currently stuck with a season pass for no game.

  • I got colour pencils! Thought my credit didn't work but eventually it did.

  • Managed to get the credit applied to my account today - spoke to them on live chat and was promised a replacement code would be emailed but it never was.
