Best I thought was the 3 day LLA day back. Best value. I got mine in the last deal for $116 but only red style. This one has 2 other different colours for the picky people. Plus they are the newer models.

There is one other bag, Wonder Weeny but I couldn't seem to click on the picture, that one is 58% off or $145 to $60.

I was looking at Wonder Weenie yesterday too but got the same problem. It is available now https://www.crumpler.com/au/wonder-weenie/#colour-black

        • Bought one. Was trying yesterday and gave up but I can confirm it's working.

        • @lemonteh: cheapest i've found is to buy the wonder weenie off rushfaster with $4.95 express post overnight. Comes to $54.90

        • @jamfactory: :(. Oh well. Damage is done.

Barney Rustle Blanket (M) Green and Gold From $165 to $80 - Looks the best out of all

    • That's from the Rio Olympics. Its not too bad but its bright.

I just got the squid green and gold instore, and its really bright.

    • Out of stock

      • Fyi Chatswood store still has stock

      • Back in stock!

    • Bought it. $80. Bargain!!

    • DRAT and I got it when it was $110! (only a month ago?) but yea DEFS a cool colour combo!

      • Thank you. I agree. Great warm colours for a back pack on the bike to the shops

Or even a cool bag for the beach or rock pool. Great purchase and price. Happy about it.

        • actually.. when it was full price it was $185 (I guess because it was a special edition) but yea, super worth it at this price.

BTW the inner print + label is.. interesting, you may or may not like it (I found it amusing).

        • @KaiAdin: Looking forward to it. Thanks

Just got confirmation email that it's being shipped. Yay!

The "LLA 60L CHECK IN PACK" for $195 is a fantastic deal IMO. My husband and I had one each and lugged them around as our main pack overseas for a 6 week holiday without any check-in luggage. Very durable despite being thrown around, stuffed to the brim, used in rain and shine for weeks on end. They're both still going strong.

    • can you give me the link. seems not working from here strange.

    • How was it carrying 60L on your back everywhere?

      • It was fine, we mostly packed it full of clothes so it wasn't that heavy. We'd leave the bags in the hotel/airbnb once we've arrived and went around bagless until we had to check out (our winter jackets had big enough pockets to hold our essentials when we were exploring during the day).

I was worried that we might have issues getting it on some of the budget planes given the size of the bags, but we never had trouble. We were always able to stash the bags at our feet on planes, even when the bags were full.

        • Cool thanks. Looks pretty big to be stashed at feet, but you managed.

        • @malouphix: oops, I was in a rush when I typed up the first message, I meant to say "LLA 3 DAY PACK" not the 60L one!! Yes, the 60L one is huge, can't get that on the plan as carry-on.

        • @beliael: Is there any water bottle pocket on the side?

        • @maxdba: I don't think there is.

        • @maxdba:
The LLA day pack has one but its only 8L capacity.

        • @harkoliar: I have bought this one before from Catch of the day. It is so small that I have to return it in the end.

        • @maxdba: I agree with you there. I use mine everyday for work, and forces me to put only the essentials in. Helps my bad back though. :)

If I put too much in there, the zipper comes undone which has happened a few times. Good thing nothing falls out.

    • Sorry, I meant to refer to the "LLA 3 DAY PACK" for $120 as being the one we got, not the 60L.

I was wondering how the airlines allowed you to carryon a 60L bag. Lol

  • Thanks OP. Ordered the wallet.

Dry Red no5. Best versatile bag I have ever bought, 12months later, looks like it is still brand new.
Also have a camera bag that is well over 10years old and still looks new.
    Very good product, best quality.

  • Thanks OP, bought the green and gold squid

    • Was shipping free as its showing me a charge for it?

      • Were you signed in?

Edit: I'm not signed in and showing free shipping.

        • yes.. I see an offer of free delivery if you spend $50+ but if you get a squid or 2 its still below $50
EDIT - even when not signed in it still shows standard shipping & express as options not a free option.

        • @cmcv:

Hmm I just tried it, and your right. They must have updated the shipping terms. Used to be free shipping regardless of minimum spend.

          Edited the title.

  • Thanks for the post, I just purchase two items.

  • Been trying to checkout with no success - no error message

  • Thanks op. Got a few bags

  • I saw these in Vietnam, factory seconds for 200-400k (24aud). Pretty sure they are manufactured in Vietnam/China. Don't believe the Melbourne Indie design studio image!

    • They are manufactured in China, but depending on what model, they could probably be fake or excess stock like you said.

      Old article here
      http://blog.malaysia-asia.my/2010/10/crumpler-bags-in-hanoi-…

Edit: They used to be manufactured here in Australia until around 2005 I think. Don't know exactly when but it has been awhile

  • Shame, I have been eyeing the dry red 5, but it's not in black…

The cheapest there is so far is at Co op, but require membership…
I cant find other item in Co op that is worth the membership.

  • Looking at the dry red 8. My laptop is a 17.3 inch but the bag supports up to 17 inch :(
Actually might still fit, screen is 17.3 diagonally but width across is 16.85 inches.

  • There are a few more items on sale, accessed via their sale menu https://www.crumpler.com/au/sale/

  • Some back in stock!

  • Should have bought last night - what I want is out of stock! :(

    • Some was just restocked just recently. Check again?

      • Not the Milestone Moment Briefcase (Large) unfortunately.

        • +1

Not in Crumpler store but Rushfaster has it on sale as well

          https://rushfaster.com.au/product/crumpler/milestone-moment-…

add shipping pretty much the same price as the Crumpler store.

the only thing I don't know if its the older model. Looks the same to me as the Crumpler store.

        • Oh wow, thank you very much!!

As far as I can tell it looks the same!

(edit: whoops, thought I replied to myself and now I can't delete the duplicate)

        • @harkoliar:

  • You can go near a store to find same deal. They might have stock. Saw in today at Westfield

  • Thanks OP, I received my order this morning. Very with my purchase.

  • Those who still want the LLA 3 Day backpack 30L Bluestone - They still have stock at Rushfaster. Comes to the same price when you add shipping. https://rushfaster.com.au/product/crumpler/low-level-aviator…

    • Just a quick FYI - its the older model. Shouldn't be much difference besides that and the removable waist bag.

      • Oh damn, didnt know that. Looked the same as the one sold at crumpler

        • Yeah you have to look at the photo. Quality, specs and warranty are the same. Just minor design changes and features that most people won't notice unless someone tells you. :)
