+100 Verify account successfully, get 100 G points.

I logged in using google and it showed my account already verified. but didn't get 100 points.

      • +1

        Refer to this

  • +1

    Thanks OP! Bought one

Does it work with Windows Phone 8.1? The specs says only Android or IOS. Just want to verify before I buy it.

    • +1

Just checked with my Windows Phone 8.1

You want to use the Bind Mi Band app

      Also Boodek mentioned it

Just a warning it costs $3.69 to unlock all the features (but well worth it)

      • +1

        Thanks Savas, you convinced me!

      • +1

        What features do you get?

        • I have only used the Windows phone app so have nothing to compare it too, but the information looks similar to their Mi Fit app. You need to unlock to get the sleep tracking and keep your history.

There doesn't seem to be a way to record continuous heart rate. Also you need to use their separate app for phone notifications.

Thanks OP Bought one for $24.11

How do I verify my email? I have only received an email which has my login name and password. There is no link in the email for me to click to verify my email.

    • Should get 2 emails, one says "Welcome to our site!" Then the other one says "Please verify registered email"

      • +1

Got the "Welcome" email but not the second one. Might create another account. Thanks.

        • +1

You must've signed up via gmail or facebook. Same thing happened to me, just needed to manually create an account.

        • +1

          @Obey:
Correct. Manually created a different account and worked perfectly.Thanks.

  • +1

Terrible site to negotiate on ipad but got there in the end. Thanks op.

  • +1

Thank you! Bought one as a present for the Mrs.

  • +1

Doh just bought 2 yday from gearbest then saw this deal!

  • I saw a few of these in eBay at cheaper prices.

    Example: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2016-Original-Xiaomi-Mi-Band-2-Sm…

Is it the same thing? A lot of other listings showed that they are more than $30 though.

  • +1

i have my 140 pointst, and applied the code but for the life of me, I don't know how to redeem these points. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

  • How to get 140 points, tried a couple of times to updating the profile form.
But the maximum what I can see this in my account is 30 GPoints.

    • From the comments if you create an account with Facebook/Google they don't send an email to verify your email address. Also sounds like you need to upload a profile picture.

  • +1

How do i get cashback discounts?

  • Anyone knows if this has a locate phone/locate band feature? Whether built-in or via an app.

    • +1

It has the find band feature via the mi app which makes it vibrate, although find phone would be more useful so might have to google that as that would be awesome!

  • This is AUD$10.99 on eBay Australia

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2016-Original-Xiaomi-Mi-Band-2-Sm…

    Are there any differences?

  • Hey guys, I am looking to use this mainly as a sleep tracker.

I currently have the 1S - does anyone know or think that this new version would be any better for sleep tracking?

    • +1

      Discussed on first page already

    • +1

I would say no (as discussed on the first page), my band 2 is worse than the 1S. Both had the enhanced sleep monitoring settings enabled.

      • +1

Yes replying to myself, if they fix the sleep monitoring problem this is the perfect band for the price. I wanted one with a display just for the time, I'm used to wearing a watch on my left wrist but wearing both (the 1S and the watch didn't work out) and having the band on my right wrist felt too weird. Sure it'll pass over time but ideally you'd just have one.

Other than that I'm very happy with mine. Actually I was surprised yesterday that incoming message notifications worked from ~8m away through walls.

Ordered this almost 36 hours ago, still hasn't shipped.
Also, based on a few comments, should I cancel my order because there's a good chance it's a fake?

    • +2

The fakes were linked to eBay.. the website for this deal is genuine

      • +2

        Ah, I misunderstood, thanks!

    • +1

I ordered mine yesterday morning and it shipped this morning, just over 24 hours later.

  • +1

Mine shipped from ordering yesterday and cashrewards is telling me I'm due for $3.57. win.

  • +1

If you select AUD, do you still need to pay overseas transaction fees (to the credit card company) or not?
P.S I don't have my Citibank card with me right now!

  • +1

    Got one Thanks OP!

  • +1

Thanks OP, and for the very clear instructions.

  • +1

Great post, finally time to pick one up for myself.

Question, are these or the 1S suitable size wise for kids? (talking 9-10 year olds).

    • +2

Fine. Santa left one for my daughter!

  • +1

    Thanks OP good buy

  • +1

Anyone received from gamiss for cashrewards before?
Not sure if these overseas website really implemented cashrewards feature, because I didn't receive cashback either in 2015 when I tried to buy something in geekbuying and it is still clocking in cashrewards :(

    • +1

      Retailer: Gamiss
Date of sale: 2 Jan 2017
      Sale value: AUD 17.83 *
      Expected cashback: AUD 3.57
      Estimated approval: 2 Apr 2017

      * Purchase price may not include delivery, taxes, surcharges, GST and other fees

      • +1

This is the email from cashrewards. I too got similar email for gamiss, as well as for geekbuying but geekbuying's transaction (in Dec of 2015) is still clocking in cashrewards history.

        • +1

Thanks for TA. He worked to fix the pending transactions for me. Great!

  • +1

Interesting, AUD$18.65 but Paypal didn't charge me $24.11 eventually. Anyways, thanks, I bought one!
Received an email from Cashrewards 12 minutes saying "Expected cashback: AUD 3.57" after I placed the order.
Btw, I used Parcel locker address which hopefully won't expose too much of my privacy which I think worth a few dollars :)
    http://i65.tinypic.com/2e18tn7.gif

    • +1

I was same. paypal screen shows $18.65 but confirmation email shows $24.11.

    • +2

same… we should be getting more cash back..well i messaged Cashreward..hope it gets fixed

also we did get the tracking no but we can't see status on Gamiss. I think you can track on this site : http://www.sypost.net/ (not sure though)

can anyone else try and confirm?

  • +1

Has anyone had any luck finding bigger strap/bands for these?
All the replacement ones I have seen so far (ebay, banggood, alliexpress, etc) are the same size as the original, which does not fit my wrist. I am not keen to go to the chainlink/watchband ones though they do seem to be bigger.

  • +1

No issues jumping through those hoops

    Ordered a couple. Thanks OP

  • +1

eBay has it for $11. I just purchased one. Can anyone say if its fake? I made my payment through PayPal so even if it's a scam, I can still claim on the item. Link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/262787460051?_trksid=p2057872.m27…

    • +1

considering their sale history, I cant see to many legit items and little feedback

Seems to be a lot of low feedback sellers selling large cat scratching posts for ~$10 though

  • +1

Crap I accidentally bought insurance with mine. Oh well it's still cheap.

  • The cheapest i could get the sub total to was 35.28 after removing insurance, applying the 10% discount and applying the 140g point. I must have missed something. Selecting flat rate shippping.

    • +1

use "HAPPYNEWYEAR" code instead of the 10% discount code

      • +1

Thank you very much, that code worked great. Thanks for the quick response. I ordered one.

  • +1

Great deal. Too bad you can only get 1 at that price

    • +3

Nothing stopping you from creating a new account 😁

    • +2

Too bad you can only get 1 per account at that price

there, fixed that for you :)

    • +1

Cheers for the info. I brought another although I doubt I'll see it for at least a month

  • How do one know this one is not fake?

  • +1

I had to make another account to buy another one, I bet there was a whole lot of other people here that did the same…. :)

    • +2

      yep :)
      and they both shipped today

  • +2

My missus wants a fitbit alta so I'm hoping this is similar :p

  • +1

    Notice:
we feel sorry to inform that the supply of this item is very tight now because of great demands. We will deliver the goods to existing buyers asap based on the stock and begin to receive new order after completing all in-hand orders.

All from ozBargain I'm assuming? 4.6k clicks haha.

  • +1

    Thanks OP! Great price.

  • +1

Great deal! Just had to pop in and say though, there's parts of their website/support (combined) that are completely pathetic particularly from a software development standpoint. I signed up with my gmail account with the "+gamiss" suffix at the end - a habit I have now for any place that allows that format so I at least have a chance of knowing where my email is being sold/etc. if I get unwanted emails.

No problems there, signed up okay - but then I get a silly 'no such account' error when trying to validate my email for the 100 points. First problem - whatever is happening on their backend with email verification, it's completely inconsistent on different parts of the site. I contact support, and let them know of the issue - and instead of having the issue resolved, I get told 'sorry your email is invalid so you can't validate it to get points.'

Lol what? I clearly signed up fine, and instead you're essentially telling me 'sorry our website sucks so you can't get your points that you should otherwise be able to, and we're not going to bother helping you with it'? I was originally going to just put the order through anyway as the 100 points was "only" worth $2, but not with the crap support they're giving.

Upvoted anyway as this isn't something that would likely affect more than at most a couple other people.

TL;DR - signed up with <something>[email protected], created account successfully, tried to verify email for 100 gpoints and failed likely due to '+' symbol, messaged support about it, was told 'sorry your email is invalid you don't get to validate for the 100 points' = shitty support and website/devs who dealt with that part, but good deal nonetheless.

  • +1

    Anyone received their band yet?

    • +3

      Got mine today!

      • +2

When did you place your order?

        • +1

          On the 2nd of January

        • +1

@simmy: me too! hopefully not to far away now :)

        • +2

Bought mine a day later. Thanks for the heads up!

  • +1

Damn, went to buy one. But the price shows as $32 USD / $43 AUD pre discount.

    • +2

Once you apply the code, you can get the discounted price.

  • +2

    Thx.

  • +1

I'm liking my new Mi band 2 (bought from gearbest but bought another 1 from this deal)
Super functional and have now gotten used to wearing it on right wrist with watch on left.
    For $25- can't go wrong

  • +1

Still haven't got one delivered, how long should it take?

    • +1

Same here, and I ordered on 01/01/17

    • +1

Anywhere between 6 to 12 weeks going by other reviews of the site.

  • +1

    Still waiting

  • +1

    Nada here.

  • +1

Ordered 3rd - Contacted Gamiss yesterday and they said "it will come in the next few days"

  • +1

Got mine today. Battery flat though.

  • +1

Ordered 4th, shipped on 7th, not received as yet.

Did the tracking number work for anyone? Seems to be accepted on Auspost but no tracking info available. Assuming it will only show up once it enters the AU delivery network.

  • +1

Ordered on 2nd Jan, Shipped on 3rd, Received today in Sydney. Quite an upgrade from my old MiBand 1

  • Has anyone bought from Gamiss before?
They got a bad score on Repdigger.com

    https://repdigger.com/reviews/gamiss

  • +1

For those who have received them, do they come in the regular mail (with Auspost) or externally?

    • Regular mail

  • +1

Display was working before but when I charged and updated it doesn't anymore. Tried re-pairing with my phone, re-installing app but still broken. Think I got a defective item.

    • +3

Hey, I had the same problem a few months back! I found a couple reddit threads where people had the same issue and they concluded that it was probably a defective mi band 2. I returned mine to the seller, you should try that too!
