          Nahhhhhh, they came before that comment ;) Maybe think about that one.

          1-2 months is ridiculous for a delivery from anywhere. Never have I had this from any company before.

          People are even getting paypal refunds. Neg completely justified.

      Exactly, thank you. 25 days has gone, they are not offering a refund to me, other people are getting annoued also and have requested a refund through paypal. Therefore negged.

  • Cancelled the order today for a full refund. Order status was still in processing.

  • Gamiss are quick to spam me with rubbish advertising - not so quick to respond to my request regarding the whereabouts of my Miband 2. As a reference, another OzB favourite - the Jackly 32 in 1 toolkit from DD4, shipped on 9/2 and arrived here today (17/12). It's Paypal time.

      UPDATE: Gamiss responded via Paypal - same rubbish messages seen above except I was told to wait 45 business days - they are kidding right?

        • I'll allow them the full 25 business days (next Thursday) they originally advertised, then escalate. Most people here are way past 25 business days and should claim now.

    Spoke with PayPal on the phone.

    They checked the tracking and apparently the tracking numbers are all giving no response back. I asked them to check 17track.net and it came up. But here is the thing,

    Paypal deem any tracking number not active or no movement in the past 21 days as Invalid.

    Also, the tracking doesnt say delivered so it also makes it as Invalid.

    Gamiss has till feb 27th to find a new tracking number or probide adequate proof that its been delivered or a full refund will be given.

    Gamiss agreed to refund mine today and I got my refund in my paypal account.

    Sorry to hear of all the trouble some people have had receiving their mi bands I have been using mine for about 2 weeks now and looking to buy more for my kids. What would be the best current price considering I don't want to buy from gamiss and have to wait as long as I had to for mine to arrive?

  • Guess what, I was confirming my address including my main contact mobile number, which differs to what I put into my order, my alternate number, they flatly refused to refund my money on that basis. Oh well, guess I have no choice but to seek PayPal's assistance. Never Gamiss again.

    • If they are try to use ur different phone numbers as a way to avoid a refund - they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Don't waste your time dealing with them - go to Paypal. I was going to give them 25 business days but when they flat out lied to Paypal saying they didn't supply me with a tracking number, when in fact they provided it during our emails via Paypal resolution (so Paypal have evidence that they did - how stupid are they?) - I immediately escalated to a claim.

      • They are anyway, I just added my actual alternate number in my Paypal and told them to get fked since they can anytime verify with paypal all they want.

          Now they just responded with a more positive note by refunding my money after raising with PayPal.

  • I got a response from my paypal claim, I've replied back with correct information so will just have to wait till March at this stage.. Paypal deadline is 5th March so will definitely claim if not received by then

      I wonder if I should bother replying and satisfying their request or simply just threaten with PP again.

      • Escalate to claim. Their tracking number is BS so they will lose. They want us all to start harassing the post offices now… Unreal.

        In my reply they said there was no tracking number and to wait 45 business days because of bad weather & customs. Looks like they have dropped most of the nonsensical statements but still want us to wait 60 days.

        • In my communication with them, they blamed Chinese New Year for the delay, when in fact the holidays don't start until the end of January. That is unless they only shipped it then for the early January orders?!

          So let me try & capture our findings … it was the Chinese new year's fault for delayed orders made 4 weeks prior; bad weather was a factor in the delays; our postie and our neighbours are thieves; giving Gamiss the wrong phone number voids any claim you have to a lost parcel; they gave us tracking numbers that apparently can't be tracked (but for Paypal purposes they can); 45 business day delivery is the new standard … does that about sum it up?

    Ordered on 01/01 and am still waiting. I agreed to wait until 03/03 and my patience was generously awarded with a 10% off coupon GAMISS10. Will give it a miss though.

      I raised a GAMISS ticket two days ago. GAMISS told me to check PO, family and friends. I replied today and GAMISS offered partial refund of US$8 or resupply if I pay another US$10. I replied that I expect a full refund as over 10 weeks have elapsed and item not received.

        My tracking code (SYBPL02166796) shows that it has arrived in Australia on mid January. But I recieved the item one month later… Not sure if it's Australia Post holding up the item or the tracking is missleading.

    PayPal just refunded my money. I'd highly recommend escalating to claim if you haven't already.

  • i escalated the case paypal. the current status is that

    "The seller has responded to our request for tracking information. We haven’t confirmed the tracking information yet but wanted to share it with you."
    the tracking number is the same one i got from gamiss and sent to paypal.

    I am not sure what i should do at the moment. it seems the only options for me are either cancel the claim or change my reason for the claim.

    shall I just wait for paypal to "confirm the tracking information"? Its been a week since the escalation.

    • Don't cancel it. Just email PayPal and explain the item hasn't moved for xx days according to the tracking number you were supplied and you consider it as lost (item not received) … Or better yet call them. Then they will action a refund.

    2.5 days of use. Battery at 94%. WOW!

    This reminds me of my old Fitbit CHarge HR and I actually like it more then my Samsung Gear Fit2.

    So many 3rd party apps, cheaps bands etc…..

  • I've finally escalated mine as well but now I'm in the predicament of wanting the band, who would be the quickest/most reliable for another band, the recent DX deal, banggood or aliexpress?

    • I would suggest getting it from a local source, e.g. Mushtato. Yes, it won't be as cheap, but you pay more for the peace of mind that it will arrive quickly and safely.

  • Anyone know how to speed up the Paypal claim process? Mine has to wait until March 14 until a resolution can be made.

        If the parcel hasn't moved for 21 days, an email or call to Paypal should see an immediate resolution and payment in your favour.

          I emailed them & they responded after a few days with a generic unhelpful response. I responded to that & asked for a refund explaining the item was lost. The refund arrived shortly after.

      • Ok, just tried again, looks like it is up and going. May have been a problem at the time, I can't read the Chinese writing in the tracking website.

        I've been contacted by marketing and they said to confirm address and check with post office. If I do this and no luck then they will issue a refund. I've done all this so now I expect a full refund.

          Did they also ask you to interrogate your neighbours, like they did with some of us?

          You can change the language of the tracking website to English. The tab is on the top right hand corner "EN". We have collectively found that the tracking details could be erroneous and should not be trusted.

          If Gamiss delays (or gives you extra hoops to jump) your refund, I would suggest going through Paypal or your credit card provider.

    PayPal reminded me I have till the 5th March to escalate! So I'll be sure to before the deadline, I spoke with someone at garmiss who said if I don't get any package by the 3rd they will organise something.. so if it's unsuitable it's PayPal claim time !
