I'm currently paying $25 a month with ALDI Mobile. Changing to this would be the equivalent to keeping my plan and paying $570 ($30*24 - $100 credit - $50 cashback) for a $1000+ phone.
Plus a Gear Fit that can be sold for $100 easily. Bringing the total price to $470 for a high end, local phone.
Why isn't this deal around 150 up-votes by now?
24 month contract, people don't like to be stuck to contracts. Saying that, a very good deal for those who are on the lookout for a new phone/plan
well it's not a $1000+ phone, it retails at most places for $850 outright, maybe you're confusing it with the Edge.

It's Virgin Mobile (Optus), and my handset was not locked.

I am wanting to port my husband's number and add it to my account to get the extra 1GB. But not sure if they will allow it if its in different names.

Lady from virgin said on the phone that if you sign up to 2 $55 plans you get an extra 1GB of data per phone so instead of both @ 4gb you get both @ 5gb data each per month…
she said this is not listed anywere on the website

You can sign up an account and once you receive the simcard and activate and port in your desired number then you can link your number to that account

i'm pretty new to this deal tracking thing but Cashrewards is doing a $50 cashback if you order this plan from Virgin,
you need to sign up to an account at cashrewards and click on the activate offer to be eligible for $50 cashback when you purchase the contract with virgin, once approved it will be added to your cashrewards account which you can pull out to your bank account (there is a minimum amount though)
I've already ordered my plans from Virgin is it still too late to do cash rewards?
@irev1: unfortunately, yes. Unless you can call Virgin and let them know CashRewards is doing a promo and other users are getting a $50 credit. Nothing CR can do for you though :(
does VirginMobile offer the 12 month $99 phone swap thing most other carriers do?
