I host a couple of small websites on Zuver's servers and have no complaints - first signed up with them in 2012.

  • Cheers, just signed up, coming from Ventra @ $35/month, so a massive saving.

    • Zuver is VentraIP, look at Zuver's home page footer…

  • The storage space includes email accounts, which makes this next to useless for even a small business.

    • Not really. I have a small business and I use google apps free for email. Also, many small businesses - granted, at the low end - never use their domain for email. I've no idea why, they just don't. So, for them, it's fine.

      • Agree - it's not great practice to use your web host for email or even as a forwarder. Better to pay a few bucks for Gmail For Business or similar.

        • How come?? Is because of security concerns of being ing hack?

        • @fritzsticker:
If your web host goes down, so does your email and forwarders are unreliable. Losing a single email can cost money for a small business. Worth investing/setting up a dedicated email service - I use gmail for business.

  • Got one just to do some hobby stuff on it, used a domain from .tk (since its free) its like a website for 3 dollars a year lol.

    • next year on renew will be $36, still cheap

  • Anyone brought over an existing domain, and if it was free?
    On their site it says:

I have my own domain name already. Can I use that?
Yes! If you have registered a domain name with another Registrar, we can provide you with the details to link it up with your Zuver hosting service. You can also transfer the domain to Zuver to make things easier, which you can read about here

And then that link only goes to renewal details.

I would be keeping my old domain name registrar, so hoping I can just update the Name Servers.

  • Just grabbed a year of the web hosting with power pack. Awesome savings, especially for a uni student like myself. Thanks for sharing!

  • +1

I've used their hosting services for the past 9 months. Great service, especially support. Absolute bargain at this price.

  • Be sure to select that you heard of them from Oz Bargains
