  • The best advice I can give you is to get a mortgage broker…they can really help simplify things for you.

    • i did.
they've got me ING bank with rates of %4ish

      • If you find a better deal, take it to them, they'll likely match…be mindful of comparing like with like though, a lot of advertised rates can look attractive until you read the fine print, check comparison rates thoroughly before choosing.

You want to wait for a bargain home loan?? Maybe get the house sorted first as interest rates can change at anytime

      This.

Just ask the people who've been waiting 10yrs for the "bubble" to burst… ;)

  • I'd be surprised if you could find better than that 3.60%. Rates have gone up since then. I'm with uBank which was the lowest I could find at the time I entered into the mortgage and its 3.84%. If you have 20% deposit then you should be able to get the lowest rate from someone like UBank or Bank Australia.

    • yes i do have the 20% i will have visit their branch

Rates Margins have gone up since then.

      fixed 💩

  • loans.com.au 3.59% variable with offset

    reduceloans.com.au 3.44% variable with offset

Best I can see at the moment.

    • thanks buddy

    • one question whats the downside of getting a loan from these new companies than not these giant banks like commonwealth, ING etc?

No actual branch to walk into is probably the main one. In return that is how they keep costs down.

        • ING doesn't have any branch either though.

      • As long as the internet banking is good I don't see why you'd need a branch.
