    Etihad to Europe $5899.00

How much is it normally ?

    • +3

According to OP's last four posts, between $5799-$5892, so this is a price increase and therefore not a bargain.

This deal reminds me of rug shops with 'closing down' sales that last 15 years

    • They rang from $6500 in their Z class fare (no chauffeur and non refundable) and from 7k for their W class fare.

That depends on seasonality though. Why we have this deal is a private airfare plus it's been netted down.

Your link says $5892, why are you charging OzBargainers an extra $7 ?

There is NOTHING to do in Abu Dhabi lol. Dubai is where you want to stop over.

Too bad to do that you need to fly Emirates

or you could catch the free bus?…..

    $5799 previously, $5892 stated online.

Is this seriously just a travel agent trying flog business class at a price available year round?

    • The reason it changes is because the taxes vary. So when I post it I am posting the exact price we are given for sample dates to Paris.

All I am doing is sharing our private airfare and netting it down. But obviously can't go lower than what is actually costs us so thats why it changes when the Taxes do.

      :)

        The reason it changes is

        A price increase is NOT a bargain…

      • Care to explain why the tax changes?

Tax is a fixed percentage generally and and port charges are fixed. What changes is supply and demand.

        • Taxes on international airfares are often based on foreign currencies and then converted to AUD. For example, a $50 USD tax could be $65.13 today but $69.69 next week.

Many have given feedback in the previous post (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/289080) which as stated seems to be $7 cheaper but think OP just posted the wrong price and as others stated it has been cheaper previously. Seems more like advertising as it was extended "due to popular demand" until 2nd February and 2 weeks later another post stating the same deal?

    • Means we got this fare longer.

Still is an epic fare and bargain. Business class, with chauffeurs on a 5 star airline to Europe all seasons.

Isn't what this website is about? Getting a bargain?

flying to europe for under $899 is a bargain and spending $5000 in europe is a better way to live the ozbargain life.

        • +3

$899 is a bargain and spending $5000 in europe

I'd rather spend the extra $4100 renting a villa overlooking lake Como…

  • plain and simple - its not a bargain, probably would suit a different audience @OP sorry
