Netflix or other good mobile streaming service

So I am in the market now for netflix or get flix or quick flix or whatever and am trying to see and decide on my options.

I have no tv still atm so purely android tablet streaming with a 1440p screen.

Looking what's best and if there address any desks I don't know about with maybe 4k down the road when I save up for one with hdr.

Is netflix still the one and only king for entertainment streaming.. I don't know if foxtel is available on mobile but I imagine it is not as extensive as netflix especially on demand.

Check if you can load a program called KODI on your tablet. It only runs on certain Android devices and computers. Should be available from the google play store. It's a free multimedia streaming service. Then google "best Kodi Add-On". There's a few in there that will let you stream the most recent episodes and movies eg. The walking dead.

    • Is this considered legal or safe

  • Get onto netflix, get onto Optus, pay the extra $10 for unmetered Netflix Streaming. fin.

  • Build your own library than run Plex of Kobi

    • When you say build you mean like rip legal DVDs from your own collection and transfer them to a hard drive or…?

      • That is certainly one method, or purchase digital content directly from online and store them onto your server

Black Mirror and Stranger Things on Netflix is worth the subscription alone.

    • Loved season 1 of Stranger Things. Might sign up just for SE2 half way through and binge while on free month trial :-)

    • First ep of Black Mirror got me hooked! Didnt really get the lesbian episode though.

  • Update: Loving netflix so far it honestly has almost anything but obviously not everything

Anyone else found some good supplements or other streaming services to complement netflix.

Not interested in vpn work arounds for now to get Hulu or Showtime etc from US just stuff that works well and properly in Australia for now.

Usually the vpn cannot keep up with the bandwidth of streaming internationally anyways and don't want to have to pay even more for a proper solid vpn and also risk all sorts of extra stuff associated with that practice.

So far I have got Stan, Fetch TV and Foxtel.. anything else? What am I missing?
