I agree, I am not a fan of the cheese as the whopper retains a cooler taste without it.

I remember when the vouchers first came out that you could get 2 Whoppers for $3.50. This was about 10+ years ago though!
When I worked at HJ's in 2000 there was a long-running promotion where whoppers were 70c each. We also cleaned the public bathroom sink with a toilet brush and some guy got fired for ejaculating in the mayo.

I actually went to HJ on the Bourke/Russell st in Melbourne about 1 month ago and they charged me for BBQ sauce along with my whopper meal, I was so disappointed =(, they never use to charge and I remember reading recently either on ozbargain or whirlpool that some stores started charging. Before I enter a HJ store, I google 'ozbargain Hungry Jacks' to check out the couches and download the HJ app (sometimes has free stuff)
Also, for free sauce, ask after you've paid with card… About 75℅ of the time they'll just give it to you as they don't want to waste perceived time.
