so last night I utilised the SCA deal to purchase online 5 cans of spray paint for $10, but with the $5 member bonus then it was $5 for 5, that was cool enough. I bought a van last year which needs some touch ups so $5 is awesome. with the cyclone touching brisbane many shops are closing. so as I arrived the SCA person was putting a sign on the door saying they were closing. she asked what I was after and I said "order pick up" so she let me in. arrived at the counter and politely asked for my order and thanked the lady serving. I noticed a box of STP truckers caps in a box behind the counter (i recently lost my hat) so I asked what was required to obtain one. she said SCA gives them to polite customers and handed me one. nice. thanked the staff and exited the store. then as i was walking to my car i found a $2 coin on the ground.
nice. 5 cans of spray paint, new cap, acknowledgement of being polite = $3
pretty neat when several little things work together to create a great outcome.
