    $8.50 for 10 AA or AAA alkaline batteries sounds about right for Premium one's. Extremely over priced at the full price.

    If anyone is buying this, then they will need to handover the Ozbargain membership for not reaching the Eneloop threshold

    • Except that these are recommended for medical devices and can be relied upon

      • Where did you see that claim?

        My blood pressure meter works just fine on eneloops, and nowhere on the case does it recommend any particular battery chemistry.

        • Diabetes Insulin pump - not saying eneloips wont work but it is recommended by endocronilogists and manufacturers

          @BKZ:

          Some devices don't like the lower voltage of rechargeable batteries, your insulin pump might be one of those. Also, if your device has an indicator of how much battery life is left, it may always say "flat" for rechargeables, again due to their lower voltage.

          Another possibility is that Energizer could have placed full-page ads in medical magazines, saying how much more reliable their alkaline batteries are. I don't know if they do this, but if I was a battery manufacturer, I would.

        • @Russ: Yes, the pump does monitor battery percentage - thx for the feedback.

          To be fair these do last a while. Pump is on 24/7 and two batteries last around 35 days so they are worth it especially when on sale.

          Thanks for the explanation 👍

    these are 8.35 @ Woolworths saw it in store today

    • Doesn't deserve a neg for 14 cents, you can't even buy a cheese stick for that.

      And Woolies and Coles always try to match each other, both can be bargains.
