Motion rate 100… na mate.. thanks…

    • What's a good motion rate to go for?

      • 200
(Im just replying rather than making a new comment…)

    • You realise virtually all consumer televisions are 60Hz-120Hz. If you want to pay extra for some crappy frame interpolation, then sure, go for it. There's no way to build missing frames when you're input source is 24FPS.

  • 200

  • +4

    Isnt that just gimmick

    • +1

It is. Most are lies where they say it's 200hz but it actually isn't. Google articles on it you will see they are usually 60hz only.

  • A review from JB:

Lots of research - paid off - Very happy with TV
Very little input lag - important for gamers. Paired with an XBOX one s - it plays HDR content very well - note that only HDMI port 1 works with HDR stuff - which is common with most of these generation of hdr tv. The Smart features are several orders of magnitude better than ones i have used in the past (e.g. LG, google tv based tvs etc). Its fast, its intuitive and all of the features boot up almost instantly. It has a native Plex app on the Samsung app store which works really well and is also otherwise very well populated with lots of different apps (so does the Xbox for that matter which is very good!). Frankly I am astonished at this TV. Its Brilliant - Even if you dont game - I would consider pairing with an xbox one s simply because the equiv HDR blueray player is at the time of writing ~800-900 dollars.

  • Good TV review
the KU6300 he's talking about is the equivalent of our KU6000.

    • Why do they change the model numbers for tvs from os to here, its annoying to figure out what tv is what

  • +1

Now I just need a room big enough.

  • Sale ends today?

  • +1

Thinking about this for our lounge. I need to go inspect in real life before 'clicking buy'. Good deal, thanks OP

    • +4

This tv whilst big enough wouldn't make a very comfortable lounge.

  • None available near me. I wonder if good guys will pricematch.

    • -1

I went to Good Guys today, they do and they beat it by $10. But I am still on the fence if I should get it

      • +3

don't think about it just do it :)

      • Same. Issue is that I know in 1 years time 70" will be the new "55" lol. So then I'll be so annoyed that I paid $2200 for something that will be $1200-1100 in a years time.

Where as the 55" is about the $1k mark. Maximum I can see it ever drop to is aorund the $700 (decent brand).

        • +1

Don't be annoyed, you're not buying shares.

Pick best available current model within your budget, shopping done & just enjoy.

        • Houses arnt getting bigger. Tvs wont get much bigger than 70

  • Lol at the pickup option. Who has a car that can fit a 70inch tv in?

    • my xtrail with the seats down and front seat all the way forward might..hahahaha might get uncomfy driving though hahahaha

      • I think you have zero chance. You aren't supposed to lie these flat for a start. Not many, if any, cars can take a tv vertically.

        • +1

          Some people have vans

  • Here's the review for the TV from the trusty objective Rtings

    http://uk.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/ku6300

As mentioned above - great mid-range TV with low input lag for gamers is what the summary is it seems.

Anyone here ever experienced this model? I'm wondering whether to get this or the Sony X850

  • I have the 55" model of this series and it's a fantastic telly. The Tizen OS is zippy and aesthetically pleasing, apps load quickly, and the picture quality is excellent. The only disappointment for me is the basic remote.
