    • U do realise that u didn't mention it on the first page too?

    • +1

It's actually 1.30% Cashback from Cashrewards for eBay Australia.

Make sure to disable all your browser add bocking software EG Adblock Plus, uBlock Origin etc. Otherwise the sale might not get tracked. Its a pain having to manually submit an untracked sale for Cashrewards.

      • They only never track big cashbacks for me :(

    • UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

    • Their sales history for those speakers shows shows the price was $149.95 and has just been getting higher from there

  • I am interested in something for Kodi but am unsure with what it requires. I have searched kodi with the link and a number of android boxes have come up - is $97 a good starting price?

      • Tv shows, movies, live sports, live everything. It's actually incredible once you get it all going. I bought Android TV's just for ease of running Kodi.

Im still amazed that such a thing exists lol.

        • Got Kodi installed on my Xiaomi TV box, gonna play around with it. Any tips on what I should load onto Kodi?

pc.byte bumping up their prices lame

  • Hi All! Have anyone found a cheap phantom 3 standard around? I've been waiting for a sale but it seems they only have 4 and 3 pro version. Any recommendation is really appreciated!

  • Does the code work if I buy now and check out after 10am when the code is available? Or do I need to buy it after 10am as well?

  • +4

Wonder why ACCC or whatever watch dogs from the government bodies who fine those companies for jacking up prices to create a fake discount don't come to this website at all. Imagine every eBay sale they could fine tens of them and a few thousand bucks each could mean extra hundred thousands dollars income for the government over the years.

    • +1

they probably have all the info they need from metadata

    • +1

A better question would be how the ACCC is scamming Australian taxpayers, and has done so for decades.

  • The last couple of these I've purchased at ended up with the seller having 'no stock', with one company taking 4 weeks and having PayPal step-in to refund the money.

Not worth the potential ~5% off considering all the hassles.

  • Perfect timing, was in the market for a new GFX card

  • Any of the 25-27 inch monitors a decent price with the 20$ off?

  • Need a search function for this. Any of these retailers likely to do ps4 or xbox one?

  • Thanks
I can't find any dji osmo mobile gimbals using the search.

Not sure if I'm doing this right.

  • apusexpress2 is shoppingsquare. Is this apart of the offer?

    • apusexpress2 is shoppingsquare?

Shopping square should be avoided. Very bad seller.

      • Thats what im thinking.. same images and listings..

Am i better off purchasing from pcbyte?

        • sellers like futu and pcbyte have always been good experiences for me during the ebay sales, decent delivery times and good comms. The last time i ordered with shoppingexpress during the sale they just screwed me around when they had no stock, saying that they had already packed the items ready for delivery, but in reality had a 2 week backlog on the items.

        • @cathole:

Awesome but does shoppingsquare sell legit items like memory cards?

        • if you wanna go SS with paypal single item purchase.

Nothing much legit about good old SS - use every trick in the book.

Don't expect the description or picture to be correct etc etc, as for if its genuine well Amazon sell fakes so?

    • Code doesn't apply to Apusexpress store (just tested).

      • Im pretty sure its the same shop…

        • Shoppingsquare and apusexpress are both owned by Zapals.

        • @Clear:

Its interesting to see the item on shoppingsquare profile is $229 now, and the same item under apuexpress is $198. Website is $179. Lol

  • Still no iphone 6s for a sane price…

  • +3

Sigh, saw a gopro hero 5 for $500, so that would be $400 with 20% off, now its gone and they are all $540 at least :(

    https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/64182/48469/capture.pn…

Why pay $569 when you can pay $569.85?

    • Where else can you buy it delivered for $455.88 or less?

      • That's true, but when I saw the original price they had up of $500 and then I take 20% off that, its a bit of a difference.

        • +1

As it turns out you can get it slightly cheaper. Another participating seller, tick_tocks, has it for $559.90 less 20% = $447.92 delivered.

  • +6

All I see is 3 pages of complaints of price jacking yet 420 upvotes….

    • +1

That reprents 420 sincere hopes for a good deal contrasted with the disappointment at the jacked prices.
Me, I have to buy an iphone and they are all shooting up. You can usually look at the previous sales history to see the usual price.

    • +1

      420 blaze it up

    • I am also not upvoting but will also not neg, can't find anything to buy on impulse as the real discount is not 20% due to price jacking.

  • +14

No such thing as a genuine Ebay 20% sale anymore..

I won't buy out of principle

      • He's right. The accc should come down hard on them.

        • +2

Plot Twist - the ACCC makes a cut from the sales too =p

        • +1

          @montorola:

Time to take the Accc to court for not doing their job.

    • Ha Ha good point

  • SATA vs mSATA HDD…

Which one would suit my 15 inch lenovo laptop?

  • No Dell this time surprising.

  • How long after 10am is it supposed to be active? It's almost 10 mins in and it says "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later."

    • It's 9:10am AEST right now, give it another 50 minutes.

      • +1

"This offer commences at 10.00 (AEDT) "

        • +1

Guessing eBay made a mistake as its currently 10:49am AEDT!

Weird though as the items have the coupon listed.

        • My bad, assumed start time would have been the usual AEST.

          Code started working yet?

        • @Baltoski: Working now, so they meant 10 AEST. Oh well, got a pair of QC35s for a great price!

    • Pretty sure it's not 10am yet?

  • Just out of interest. Why are all the 8th hhds starting at $400+ when msy sell them for $355?

Kind of disappointing not to be able to match normal prices. Makes the 20% off a waste yet again

  • +6

    just price jacking now.

retailers have upped their prices 20%

cheapest bin 7700k is $449, cheapest as part of sale is > 20% off that.
