@Baysew: Me too. It is strange that they only asked for mobile phone number, but then on referrals it wanted email addresses of your friends.

It's just a way to get your contact info and solicit donations. The guide itself is a little credit card sized thing that folds out into about an A4 page size with about the 12 most common causes for concern for a pet. Nothing you couldn't get with a quick google - honestly.
yeah i wondered why they couldn't just provide a pdf. what's with needing a phone number?
So they can phone you. You're more likely to successfully solicit donations if you can get someone one on one.
