Go with JB, you also get local warranty at least. I heard stories with warranty for grey imports. Just do a search on Whirlpool about eGlobal.
But warranties on such low cost items are not worth paying extra for. Neither is insuring your smartphone. You get less protection with a warranty than insuring it.
Spend less, eat the cost of replacement if and when it comes up.
I've bought point and shoots and camera lenses from them. No issues. They are grey imports though, so risk is warranty stuff?
