HyperX Cloud II Comptiability

Hi Guys,

I just bought the HyperX Cloud II headset then realised it might not work on my comp -_- (stupid me).

My computer is quite old..i tried my mate's headset which has 2 cords (microphone and audio) and it works fine.

I then realised this HyperX headset only has a 3.5mm audio which goes into a voice control then it uses an USB to connect to the computer.

Does anyone know if this motherboard support it - Gigabytes H77M-D3H….sorry guys i'm a comp noob :(

Thanks a million!

It's a plug and play USB adapter, it will work in the USB 2 or 3 ports.

    • Does that mean the USB adapter will facilitate the audio and microphone even though my computer usually requires 2 cords (audio+microphone) to be plugged in at the same time…i hope this makes sense…

It will work fine. Just plug the USB into a USB socket and it will work itself out. Computer will sort the speakers and microphone out, both will work.

I have the same headphones, and I had them on an even older Z68 motherboard. Works great, good sound, very comfy.
