Stocard working for me
Had the same issue in my local store in box hill. My voucher is already loaded on stocard/passwallet app. Customer care said our card was invalid, probably too many orders to process in time? Asked me to call the caltex line in the morning

The staff were really really helples here.. I purchased $50+ fuel. I asked to use $20 voucher and they said they cant find any partial payment option. So I had to pay full in cash.
You should ask them to call their head office or their Manager, have been to three different servo and all of them know how to redeem it.
How do these work exactly? Say I have just filled up fuel to the value of $35. Can I use 2 of these QR codes and one of them will have $5 left? Or is it a one time use thing?
I think you need to tell the cashier to split payment to 20 and 15.

Yes they scan it, wait 24 hours before the card is activated
I tried to use PayPal and it paid and then refunded.
In the end have to enter my card as the payment directly on Groupon page.
Anyone else having that issue? And know the fix?

Seems like the qr code they tried to scan at my local caltex starmart is invalid (I have already activated my Groupon voucher with the qr code for the star card). Also had someone else with me who had the same problem with theirs. The caltex customer care couldn't help either and asked us to ring during working hours. Seems like they haven't activated all orders in time.

Same thing happened to me just 1hr ago. Apple wallet says balance and available $20. Card was declined. Was very annoyed.
The Caltex I was at was a "participating" outlet that accepts digital card.
Also had a problem with having this accepted at this Caltex/Woolworths in Strathfield NSW.
Listed on Find a Caltex as accepting StarCash Digital too.
The attendant said "we don't accept this" and I even asked her to try but she said no and kept thinking it was some Uber discount.
Also I know some people here are using Stocard. I'm finding that WalletPasses is better for this because it actually shows remaining balance in addition to the QR code and total balance. Stocard just gives you the barcode.
From the "Find a Caltex" link and searching with stores accepting the eGift Card. Woolworth's Caltex in Strathfield isn't listed (287 Liverpool Rd, Strathfield NSW 2135). Caltex Strathfield South - 600 Liverpool Rd, Strathfield South, NSW 2136 however is listed. That could be the reason why.

The stores that have the banner "Save up 8c/l" are owned by Woolworths,not Caltex.Only stores with "Save 4c/l" banner may be eligible.
woolworths caltex won't accept this. only star caltex.

Attendant got me to press okay on the pinpad and it goes through , which worked
Attendant needs to press scan barcode/qr button and then scan the qr code. There is no pin as above.
For those that worked, did you 'activate' the offer by going to 'http://host.groupon.com.au/caltex/' and entering the security code? Then, was a subsequent email sent to you containing the voucher?
When I enter the security code into the groupon/caltex website it says my code is invalid.

got a couple more since it's lots better than the 4c fuel discount, and notice that they limit 2 purchases on the same creditcard details… since my paypal payment still broken as somehow Groupon keep refunding my payments if using paypal.

What i meant i used 2 separate accounts as mentioned by others earlier. But i found even using separate accounts, seems like i can only purchase 2 vouchers using the same credit card.
Must be tracked by either credit card or phone number.
I've bought 7 so far just by making accounts [email protected] with the number increasing consecutively, identical user details and CC direct on Groupon no problem. I've been paying with Amex though, not sure if there's a difference there.

Yeah got the same, its a reactivation of the last promo that was sold out. Mind you the fuel i got was terrible, Caltex 95 got me half the distance of Caltex Woolies 95. Try my luck with 98 and see how it goes, i dont have my hopes up though.
I seriously doubt Woolies Caltex stores get different petrol to standard Caltex stores
So would i, especially considering i worked in servos for 8 years. My though is either that no one buys the 95 (either 91 or 98) and it has gone stale or because it is a semi new servo with not the best access and i filled up on the outer most pump (least often used) that the fuel was stale. Either way i reset my odo when i fueled up and got 110kms for 17L of 95 where from the Caltex Woolies 95 i got 223kms. So ill try 98 with Caltex but i wouldn't ever use the 95 again for the above concerns.

I know this has been inactive for a while. But has anyone been able to use these gift cards at a woolworths caltex? I have approached 2 within my area and they say only servos without woolies can process these gift card.
Really hoping to stack 4cent off vouchers with this gift cards.
