  • Out of stock..

  • Sold Out!! Thanks OP! I bought like the 550th one :\

  • Omg, missed it

  • +2

    Gone..

    $299 x 600 = $179.400 went away :)

    • +8

      More like $254.15 x 599 + $299 x 1 (The guy who forgot to enter in the 15% off code) = 152,534.85

      • Feel sorry for him :(

  • -1

    Bought 2 yay

  • That was quick. I wonder how many sales came from OzBargain.

  • Placed an order, lets see what comes through!

  • I hesitated because I saw they come from Singapore. Not that this is relevant to me seeing as I missed out but Will this be an issue for warranty?

    • Similarly Bose carries global warranty on the products sold on Shopmonk

This means can we claim warranty in Australia?

  • It's back!

    Edit: It's gone!

  • Bought three thanks

  • Out of stock! 600 sold.

  • +1

Now lets hope they can part with 600 at that price

    • +10

This "Shopmonk" is the bloke that made up his own eBay feedback in earlier deals.

I would VERY carefully check these out for potential fakes etc as they have just sold more than 5 x the amount of their previous (proven fake) feedback.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/310768#comment-4748293 BE CAREFUL WITH THIS SELLER!!!

NEG for major problem with seller - sorry TA lots of respect to you but the seller is a proven liar who manufactured his own eBay feedback
Check them for fakes people, this seller has been caught doing dodgy things before

      • +8

Promo has been backed by eBay themselves as part of their Hump Month deals, and you also have PayPal protection. I doubt eBay would risk massive consequences by getting into bed with a dodgy seller during such a big event/promo.

        • +12

Yes but he definitely manufactured his eBay feedback. Please read the links.
I trust you TA but not this guy. He literally sees nothing wrong with mailing out to all his "wholesale list" to fake his feedback
I am saying be alert not alarmed. Ebay promotion or not, this guy lied over and over about his feedback so i don't think its a big problem for him.
I would check them over carefully. If its a bargain great, but definitely check.
He is not the most honest seller.

        • +4

that is no indicator of trust

eBay were quite happy to promote them with a 20% sale when they had 0 sale history and a bunch of shonky pricing behaviour

        • -1

          @HeXa:

This is a specific promotion with one seller to sell $150k of a single product. There is zero risk.

        • +4

          @ash2000:

Not sure if you're being sarcastic there or not lol

        • +6

          @ash2000:
"There is zero risk." famous last words!
Its a great price but this guy has been caught bullshitting before. Me, I would definitely check over the headphones

        • @ash2000: considering SG street prices for legit QC35 are no where even in the same ballpark as this deal…. one would hope this is a case of being a loss leader to build market presence

        • +1

@King Tightarse: too late to get in on that bridge offer?

        • @HeXa:

          Yes, heavily subsidised by eBay.

Shopmonk has a huge online company in India (and probably eBay in that market) this is not just an isolated small time seller this have decided to team up with.

        • +3

@ash2000: Volkswagen are are solid, honest, trustworthy and reliable German company…
This Shopmonk guy has been caught red-handed lying and falsely creating his eBay feedback. Lots of it Probably it is OK because its such a large public eBay promotion but it definitely inspires carefully checking.
Really makes you wonder about the type and kind of back room deals that go on at eBay. Somehow this guy was getting promoted with his first ever eBay deal when his feedback was zero.
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/306217

        • @King Tightarse:

Not up to date on Volkswagen are you?

        • @ash2000: by huge online company, did you mean small startup?

        • +2

          @King Tightarse:

Ok fair enough……I agree it doesn't look good on paper……

…..that said ….given this is an eBay promo as much as it is the sellers', I'm sure they (eBay) won't leave 600 buyers without their product at the promised price.

        • +1

@King Tightarse: from my basic research it looks like shopmonk have been backed by a pretty huge VC firm (according to their own website - couldn't verify it anywhere else) Accel Partners. This would mean they have some money behind them to get things done. Either that or thats a lie too, who knows. At the end of the day though eBay will get back us up if this deal goes sour.

        • @blaze: Funny that, Accel Partner website has no mention of Shopmonk. I wonder why? All in all its a great deal but sad part is too many people on the train and at work and out and about wearing QC35's. Its all too common now…sigh :( I think I will hold out for a ripper deal on PXC550 and pick one of the QC35's when it is listed in droves on ebay or gumtree.

        • @abovethelimit: Got Qantas FF Points? PXC550 going cheap there, 64,280 points (approx $386)

      • Not sure if being Salty or Careful. =p

  • And I thought buying mine for $399 after 20% discount was cheap last year. haha

  • i'm no 597 when i purchased

  • Wow 600 stocks sold within 18mins… OZBARGAINED !

  • What an insane price! $254 compared to the already great $340ish deals we've had in the past!!

  • +1

What's the chances of it being a pricing error?

    • -1

Very high, interested in whether this small seller will cave in.

They were even selling the QC25s for 339 less than a month ago [here]
      (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bose-QC25-Silver-Noise-Cancelling…) seems fishy to me.

    • None at all, the deal was plastered over the front page of Ebay as a part of their "1 hour mega deals" promotion.

      http://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/hump-month?_trkparms=%26clkid%3D5…

      • Oh it is too, didn't even look at the homepage.

    • Yeah. Seems fishy. Seller has been operating since Feb and only has sold around 130 items (assuming everyone left feedback) but somehow can get hold of 500+ pairs from Singapore at a rate which way undercuts any other price (even ignoring the ebay discount)

  • +7

This was my biggest savings this year.. I hold off for 20 minutes and saved $250. Cheers to my 500 oz bargain mates who got their hands on this :-) enjoy

    • …600

      • +3

Yes but I was sure that we have hoarding mates who won't be happy if they can only get one..

        • +1

LOL True, better make it 100-200 then :)

  • +14

    • +1

      So true.

My problem last 6 months has been decent sales on OzBargain.

Bought a camera. Lens. Another lens. Then I needed a camera bag. Tripod.

  • Fark! I definitely need to go to spec savers. I saw this earlier and thought it read $354. Dammit!

  • No luck :(

  • +10

This deal is going to be talked about for ages….
"remember that time. bose qc35's.. $250ish?? 600 of us go yeahhh and clink virtual beers at each other.
The rest regret not checking OzB at that time

    • +1

    http://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/hump-month?_trkparms=%26clkid%3D5…

    • no. shopmonk is not eligible for ctax20

  • -1

    DAMN GOOD DEAL!
if only i wasnt driving home
then again i dont need another pair of QC35s

  • +1

Certainly the best deal eBay have offered as part of there Wednesday promotion this month.

I'm just thanking LBJ that they sold out before I saw them, or else I would have ended up buying anther pair at this price.

    • +2

Pretty sure the Mavic deal was better

      • +2

        Agree. Mavic deal was unreal!

      • Oh god….. what was the Mavic deal? Tell me it wasn't under 1k? I can't see it in the past deal history.

    • gopro was good too

  • what will be the next three deal coming

  • Fuarr missed out

  • Will they ever be at this price again?

  • Aw shoot, counted down the seconds only for it to turn out to be PANS. Stinkin pans!

    • +2

I think eBay did that on purpose.

Released the Qc35 which they knew guys would jump on, then release a pan set so the guys can keep their wives happy.

      • +1

Cans then pans. What's next, fans?

        • blokes love cans

  • +2

Good luck punters, but seems good, very good, in fact TOO good… will follow with interest!

  • +10

Dammit! Was too busy cooking for my pregnant wife and missed out!

    Shoulda just got her KFC.

    • +4

It's ok now you can get her the pan set lol

      • +1

These would of come in handy when the wife tell's me its my turn to change the diapers.

  • +3

The only thing that would make this deal more memorable is if the 9:00 deal is QC35s for $150. :)

    • Haha a part of me wants to see that happen, so all the people in this thread rage (myself included) lol

  • +9

Don't be surprised if they're 'Boose' QC35. With QC standing for 'quick cash'
