      •

Have you been using the same card?

        •

Yep, only have my ING card on Android Pay.

  •

Have activated, but not yet used, an Eligible Card on Android Pay before the Promotion Period and make Qualifying Payment(s) before 23:59 AEST 21/7/17

Already used one card on Android Pay in the past. Can I add another card (which I have never used with Android Pay) and still qualify for this?

    •

Already have a card in Android Pay, but haven’t used it yet?

Try it for the first time and you’ll get an envelope each time you use Android Pay until 21 July (max 10 per day). One of up to 200,000 prizes could be inside.*

    •

Looks like I didn't answer your question…well, I had the same situation. I think you can actually remove the card and add it back, not sure if that will be considered as adding an eligible card though.

      • +1 vote

I found that clause to be very confusing.

Well. Guess the only way to find out is to try.

      •

I removed a card and re-added. Bought a coffee using Android pay and didn't get any envelope.

      •

ok. added a new card. made a purchase on that card & no envelope. deleting the cards and the app. I found Samsung Pay to be infinitely better including better security (option to require a PIN to be entered before each tap) and can be accessed without unlocking the phone

        •

HHmm. I have a Nexus 6P and I don't have to unlock the phone? It's one of the options in the settings IIRC.

I used to use the ANZ cards app for payments but switched to AP as it actually worked better AND I can store my loyalty cards in the app, AND it reminds me to actually use them!

  •

I set up my card today (have never used android pay before) and I made a purchase at 7 eleven using it and it worked yet I still haven't received my envelope… is is supposed to come instantly?

    • +2 votes

Check if you have the promotion as a card. Envelope appears instantly for me.

      •

I definitely don't have that - thanks though

    •

It didn't work for me either and I realized it was because I was using an old version. Even after I updated and made a payment I wasn't getting it. I tried using a different gmail account and it worked though.

      •

Did you delete your card and re add it with the new gmail account?

      •

How do you manage to unlink the email address?

        •

I didn't, I used a different gmail account (different email address) which had never used android pay before. I didn't delete the card on my previous account, I was able to get it working with the same card.

        •

@destroyerx: did you get the Tap Pay Win card on your android pay with the new gmail account ?

I tried new gmail account, but no card. Haven't try tap it yet though..

        •

@tinx: The card showed up on the new account. Pretty sure it'll only work if you've never used android pay on that device though, the check appears to be tied to the device not the gmail account.

        •

@destroyerx: yeah. It seems that way for some phones. That card doesn't show on my phone (s8) but my friend who used nexus said he can get the offer with multiple gmail account.

  • +1 vote

won a $5 coles voucher last night on my 5th use. should put through every item separately haha.

    •

Thought of that but "Each qualifying payment must be made at least one minute apart."

How long would you like to spend at the checkout pissing other customers off lol?

  • +2 votes

Now a Boost voucher! Now to find the best one dollar purchases to get to the 10 per day!

      •

One dollar? What about $0.01? hahaha

        •

Where have you found 0.01 items? Buying a drop of coffee???

        •

@HamzaH: Nowhere, but I've found places that accept $0.01 transactions (with no human interaction so you don't annoy anyone) ;)

        •

@illumination:can you please advise of these places :P

        •

@jdsouza: "Please advise" is stuffy-corporate-jargon for 'f** you'.

Coles lets you do 1c partial payments.

        •

          @idonotknowwhy:
payments need to be one minute appart.

        •

@shiningstars: Yeah. So go with 3 phones / 3 accounts and cycle through. By the time you get back to the first one, > 60 seconds have elapsed.

It's shit when there's no reception in some woolworths stores.
    So far I have:
    13 x $5 coles
    2 x $10 coles
3 x Cinema tickets (really want 1 more)
    6 x Boost vouchers

My myki is pretty well topped up now.

  •

How many prizes do you think are still out there? Particularly interested in winning boost vouchers :)
Might have to give this a try :)

Minimum Purchase amount? $1 or less?

    •

      I've been doing 10x $0.01 everyday.

Yesterday was the first time I didn't win anything.

Makes me wonder if they've changed something such that you can only win something if you spend more than a certain amount now lol

      •

        Lol wouldn't surprise me haha

My card doesn't except Android pay, I'm tempted to get one that does just for this!! How long would it take though :P

        •

I think it's worth still getting a card for it!

        •

@illumination: Are there any cards accepted that are quick to come or are they all 3-5 working days (1 week?) :(

      •

Confirming that $0.01 still triggers some winnings (as of yesterday)

  •

Hm my 30 day promotional period has expired. Trying to figure out (using another Gmail) how to get another 30 day period started but can't figure it out.. =/

    Anyone have any tips?

    •

New Sim card, new gmail account, factory reset your spare phone.
I'm on android pay account #3 now.

      •

I had a feeling it would require a factory reset lol

New SIM card as well though?! Really?

  • +1 vote

    So far got:

  • +1 vote

I got around $25 in coles vouchers (more $5 ones, but one $10), a $30 myer voucher, a $20 rebel sport voucher, a boost juice and 3 movie tickets. Nice winnings from the promotion. :)

  •

Just got started with this one. 4 transactions and i think only 3 envelopes. The kids were interfering and i know i had 2 loser messages but didnt see the other result. Is there any way to check if i won but missed it? Thanks

    • +1 vote

You will get an email for each win and anything won will be saved in the Android Pay app. Check the Tap. Pay. Win. tile in the Android Pay app as it should indicate if you still have any unopened envelopes.

      •

Thanks. Dont have to worry about the kids (or hubby) distracting me then

Try to get the card-only "no cash out" machines. Sometimes people want to use cash and they only have a few machines, so you get punched for hogging one of them.
Also, there's a mute button on the self-checkout machine, so you don't draw as much unwanted attention.

  • +3 votes

The self checkout attendant had a chuckle with me when I won a Coles gift card by shopping at Woolworths.

  • +2 votes

my tally so far (19 days)
    12x $5 coles
    2x $20 rebel
    1x $50 myer, 1x $30 myer
    2x movie vouchers
    1x boost
    Another 11 days to play.
