Cheaper on Dicksmith Ebay with C5OZ if that's still working
    $1137 - $56.85 = $1080.15

    • Why did someone neg Blu2 post without feedback?

      • +4

        Butthurt.

        • Or the "saving" of <2% is such a paltry amount and a crappy reason to neg when only a comment is only required.

        • +2

@altomic: Erm, people go nuts over saving a few cents on this website, $18.85 is the savings Blu2 showed.

        • +2

I didn't neg for the reason of censorship but to promote critical thought so an ozbargainer can think "hey why did that one person downvote?" And read the thread instead of going straight to the deal. The upvote/downvote is just a tool in my view.

And let's be honest, if you're on this site $20 is worth saving

What on earth could you possibly be using your PC for in order to justify that amount of RAM???

    • +31

      COTD browser tabs

    • hard enough using 16gb on home pc ……only thing using these large amounts are servers.

    • Browsing Ozbargain.

What on earth could you possibly be using your PC

It's registered memory so obviously it's for servers and not home PCs.

      • Ah yes well I'm an idiot then

    • Photoshop.

    • You could be adding it to multiple (2) machines.

    • +3

      Video editing.

    • +5

Lots and lots of virtual machines.

    • +3

      Database (SQL) server.

      Refreshing Telstra ebay.

    • You could RAMDISK your OS with that much.

    Where dat rgb at tho?

Damn after many years of frustration at how slow my pc was, I finally upgraded my ram by 400% last week. 1Gb to 4.

    • How old is your PC??

      • +1

I reckon it would be close to 10 yrs old now. Older than half the people on here I'd imagine 😆

  • +1

128gb. Thought I was looking at a deal for a USB stick

  • -3

Omg. Ram rarely peaks out at 8 gig doesn't it?Having more doesn't speed things up

    • Depends on what you are doing with the RAM, try owning servers utilizing virtualization.

      • +2

Oh I see. Thanks . No wouldn't like to try that

    • Try seeding a hundred thousand torrents from one computer/server. It’ll eat into you 8GB you planned to use for games.

  • Thanks OP, bought 20

    • I bought a dozen while I was in KFC Drive-Thru.

      • How was your zinger?

        • I couldn't afford any food after buying this.

        • @Scab: just kick the crumbs off KFC's floor, it's the same.
