How to 'try out' the Galaxy S8 or LG G6 before committing?

I'm a long time iPhone user who wants a new phone and am considering a flagship Android.

However, as I tend to use my phones for 4 years +, I really want to try out android on these flagship phones before risking $1k or more on them.

Apple has a unconditional 14 day return policy, where you can try out an iphone for 14 days, and return it if you don't like it.

Does any seller of the Galaxy S8 or the LG G6 have a similar policy, where I can give the phone a go and return it if it doesn't suit me?

Cheers!

If you went with vodafone this might be covered by http://www.vodafone.com.au/network

Cancel anytime in the first 30 days with no cancellation fees. Just pay for what you owe and return the phone in good working order. New services only. Pay your plan fee, monthly handset repayment and any excluded usage. Limit one trial per service.

  • Samsung has a 14 day return policy BUT they are not as good as Apple's. Everytime there's a new phone release (eg iphone, galaxy) he buys them from the Apple or Samsung store and tries them out, and then if he doesn't like it he returns it. He always tells me that Apple will return it no questions asked, but Samsung you have to really push them for the refund

    • Who's he?

      • hah.. sorry, a guy at my work purchases new phones upon release

  • Officeworks has the "best" return policy for this type of thing.

You can also have the receipt emailed to you at time of purchase which is handy.
