    Wtf….

    • +14

      WaTer F***?

      • +17

Can you drink this, refill from tap, then get a refund..?

  • +27

How would the mouthfeel of this fine drop compare to say, the delightful tap water of Adelaide?

    • +20

this comes out of a bottle. Tap water comes out of a tap.

      • +9

what if you bottle Adelaide water?

        • +52

who are you trying to kill?

        • +4
        • @Jake Elwood: lol also might give some bottled adelaide water to Legolas as an early christmas present

        • @Gimli: what about a drop from the Fanghorn? What will you get Galadriel?

        • @Jake Elwood: i'll get the lady something else from these ebay deals. Any suggestions?

        • +3

@Gimli: I was going to suggest jewellery but I heard she was offered some and she refused.

        • +4

          @Gimli You get 'Mount Franklin'

      • yeah like comparing wine from a bottle vs wine for a cask.

    • +1

      Probably less solid matter.

    • +2

      Less chewing required

    • Can't be better than Melbourne tap water….

  • +9

Hahaha.. good one. Before JV gets one in, how is this different from distilled water?

    • +10

"harvested from icebergs freshly carved off glaciers in the remote polar region of Svalbard archipelago, 1,000 kilometres from the North Pole."

      • +3

        Lol I love the marketing

freshly carved off glaciers in the remote polar region of Svalbard archipelago

Yeah, like anyone's really going to risk their lives to "freshly carve" an iceberg lol gtfo

        • they don't mention the environmental impacts of all this carving

      • +1

Now they have to "carve" an entire Iceberg just for Dan Murphys since this has been posted on Ozbargain.

      • +1

        harvested from icebergs

The fun part is when they sow lots of little ice cubes in preparation for next year's harvest.

    • +14

      this is more impure!

      • This must just have the right amount of impurities.

    • +5

      Evening jv

    • +3

      dis is still water

      • +4

Not as still as it was before global warming :boom tish:

  • +1

Asking here as I kind of need an answer quick. D you need to wait for the email from DM or is ebay receipt enough for pick up?

    • +58

If you wait long enough and rely on global warming, the icebergs will melt and come directly to you. Stop being so impatient.

      • -3

        Thanks for your helpful comment.

    • Wait for the email

    • @fufufu: I don't think that this item is a click and collect item. Some of the products from DMs are shipped directly from the supplier (called "DM Connections product"), and not available for C&C. I'm pretty sure that this one is a connections item.

For the man who has everything, except a grasp on reality.

    • +5

      Does this have Electrolytes??

  • +1

Amazing, you learn something new everyday.

  • +1

I prefer PRIMVS but thanks for posting.

  • +26

This makes Voss look pretty poor doesnt it?

    • +7

Voss has suddenly become the poor mans water.

  • +4

Thanks OP, I need something like this to rinse my mouth after the fries and before the Big Mac!

  • +4

    thanks, bought 10

    • +3

      Broden'd the climate

    • Bought a 1000000 … I'm going to fill my swimming pool up with it.

      Qu'ils mangent de la brioche

  • +3

If lucky might get the Neolithic flu virus.

  • +1

Gonna get a few boxes and have a bath in it.
    But seriously, WTF!

    • filling up the olympic size swimming pool or dont bother.

    https://www.drinkpreneur.com/beverage-industry-news/svalbard…

It won the Gold Award for best tasting Water ;)

Better hurry. Limited quantities on EBay……

    • Water shouldn't taste…

      • FYI Pure H2O will ruin your teeth.

        And tastes weird.

  • I hope this is one of the prizes for the OzB easter egg hunt next year.

  • -4

What a stupid deal so tempted to negative vote , we have people i countries dying because there's no clean drinking water and yet here we have on a bargain website people claiming that $85 for less then a litre of water is a bargain ? Where did we go wrong FML

    • +7

what is wrong with this one nation?

    • I have nothing to say to this comment apart from:

      whoosh

      • +9

        what about:

        please explain

    • you have a good point…but our focus here is on bargains…and this is a heavily discounted product which defines my identity as a consumer.

  • +11

Lived in arctic for a few years, ate some icebergs, tasted like ice, went back to tap water, tasted the same.

  • +1

How would this compare to water from the streams of Fanghorn?

    • +1

      this is colder

  • +25

The good news is, you can offer it to your guests as a special treat, and keep refilling it.

    • +5

Can you send me an empty bottle?

    • +1

Haha true, pretend to open it for the first time infront of them so they feel extra special

  • I think this takes the title of 'Biggest waste of money' from the previous title holder - Cans of Australian air

  • +18

My kids love it, goes down smooth with Aldi cordial.

  • +1

    Is this some sick joke?

  • -7

Losers. Idiots who buy this crap should do us all a favour and win the Darwinian award

    • +1

I think they would only win the Darwin award if this was poisoned or something….

        • lol i'm waiting for confirmation as to when i can pick it up
I'm too poor to buy anymore right now

        • @Gimli:
Sorry for being so harsh. Didn't mean it; was just a bit shocked at how silly some elements of our society has become.

Was originally considering buying a bottle as a joke present for some pretentious friends. However, I doubt they would get the joke.

        • @sator: I think the Green & Clean cans of Australian air mentioned above would make a better (and cheaper) joke present.

  • +3

This must be good stuff!! Just like air from blue mountains!!

    • +3

and i thought global warming was making ice in the polar regions recede….. its people melting the ice and bottling it …….

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Got two

    • +10

I think we have a future nobel laureate here!

      • +3

This guy is a rocket surgeon!

  • +2

Dammit! Just bought a couple days ago when the deal wasn't live.

  • +7

Any chance of scoring an Officeworks price match?

  • +2

How much deuterium does this contain?

    • Not much…

      Natural abundance‎: ‎0.015%

      • No deal! I only like to drink water that's at least 40% depleted

  • -8

Ice bergs are already melting without these d*******s making a profit from it !

    • +3

If you took the time to research the product they specifically state that they only harvest from icebergs that have already broken off the ice shelf.

      • +1

By magic fairies, I assume, that don't even fart

      • +4

        Ethical Iceberg harvesting!

  • +5

Perfect example of what's wrong with our world

  • +1

    wow. one already sold!

    • I admit I'm kinda interested to know what it tastes like, despite logically knowing fully it's just going to taste like "Pump" (does that still exist?).

Question, how long ago would these glaciers have been frozen? Millions of years?

  • +4

The only way I would pay that much for water is if Scarlett Johansson.. no wait.. Don't type that.

I think I will stick with wine and not comment on this forum while drinking it.

  • +2

Only a Wall Street (profanity) could come up with something so completely senseless. I guess he and his buddies got bored of snorting rainforests.

  • +2

For those times you have a thirst that only a glacier from the North Pole can quench

  • hahaha buy them and put them on ebay for 3x the price

lol only 1 sold…that dude must be really thirsty….

  • $85 for a bottle of water? What's wrong with tap water?

    • and they were too cheap to include minerals

  • +2

    http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Svalbar-i-Polar-Iceberg-Water-750mL…

^^ Case of 6 incase anyone is interested in stocking up. Only 4 remaining!

    • A true Ozbargainer would run that over 6 transactions - one for each bottle with coupon.

  • Can JV please try this out and tell the community what's the pros and cons?
    Do a video!

  • +2

    Somebody… actually bought one.
