  • KMC3 is better?

    • +1

      It's also more expensive

    • +2

Not sure in what way, the KMC3 is huge and bloody heavy, does not have a rechargable battery, and the bass port whistles at high volumes.

I own a KMC3, and it's a fantastic party speaker, but it needs an extension lead and a power point, and also the rubberised coating has started to perish and go sticky and gooey.

I'd love a Bluetooth speaker that is smaller and actually portable.

    • I bought the KMC3 from Spackbase's deal 18 months back
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/234301
Made me a Klipsch convert, despite a couple of drawbacks (non-portable & the sticky rubber casing) neither of which affect the sound. I love it and use it as my main in-house system for Bluetooth listening.
Tempted to pull the trigger on this deal. According to Amazon reviews it's quite small and only weighs 0.77kg, which makes it portable (imo).
If the sound is good, this could be a great bargain

      • Yeah I got the KMC3 as part of the above deal as well.
Its a great speaker. I was wondering if the sound quality of this one would be similar?

  • Based on research (as I am interested in buying one) and reviews, I think Cambridge Soundworks Oontz Angle 3 Plus is better.

    • Cambridge Soundworks Oontz Angle 3 Plus sounds tinny.

      • Thanks for your info. I will check out the sound test once I am home.

      • Uhm… that's very interesting review … so I am not sure how the product got so much positive reviews on Amazon.

Do you have any recommendation for Bluetooth speaker for AUD40 (USD35) range? Thanks.
