I will not step back from pointing out bigotry, misogynism, intolerance and stupidity when I see it, or we risk it becoming normalised. What got Trump voted was stupidity and ignorance, which is exactly what happened with Brexit. Fortunately Europe took a good hard look at what happened in America and went "not on my watch" which is why we have centrist governments in Europe and not right wing idiots. If you want to identify with Trump, go right ahead but I won't have people saying Australia is like that without a fight.

      At least 50% of Australian residents can generate their own power and be self-sufficient (electricity-wise), and we can't have that. We can't share power with our neighbours and we certainly don't encourage self-sufficiency. That is never mentioned. Lots of enviro fluff-talk is mentioned, and it all involves paying around 500 bucks a year just for the privilege of having an electricity supply at the premises. Once you turn that switch on, enjoy paying more. If you happen to be a Solar Slave, enjoy those super-low cents you get for generating those KWh…subsidised by your lovely taxes.

      Esentially allowing the crooks to live off your back. Nice work if you can get it. All nations on earth with good solar uptake have been hit with super-high electricity prices. We can't have decentralised power. No way, mate. What we can have is solar and batteries that save the grid shedloads of $$$ from our lovely residential and business Solar Slaves, while those daily charges and KWh costs keep skyrocketing…as the Slaves pay for all that lovely unneeded expenditure that has been devoted to the Lovely Grid.

        I live in one of the most hipster suburbs of Brisbane and stroll around with my camo edition MAGA hat proudly atop my head, never had a problem (I am a pretty imposing person at 195cm, however), and I don't see why I should…if someone is handing out Greens propaganda on the street it doesn't cause me to descend into autistic screeching and proclaim them to be racist/sexist/bigoted etc etc etc. Opinions are like arseholes, everyone's got one and most of them stink!
