I will be travelling via Brunei to Bangkok very soon and just wondering if the airline - royal brunei offers any complimentary services at the airport or around? Like lounge access or short trips?
I have an awfully long 17hr transit time between my flights.

If you ring Melbourne office I am sure that you will have transfers to a hotel stop over in Bandar Seri Begawan. Not sure which meals are included and level of facilities provided, ask if pool is available. Economy passengers stay at about 3 star and business used to stay at Radisson. Things to do? Visit the air conditioned museum, walk to mosque with lake, go to market, mainly food but some souvenirs. You can hire a long boat , negotiate price with owner. Have been to Shell sponsored museum a bit out of town and showing it's age.
My travelling experience in Brunei can be summed up in 2 words - M & M (Mosques & Museums).
Oops It was the Royal Regalia museum in town that proved most interesting.
You would arrive in BSB at ard 5:30pm. Museums would be closed for the day.
The airport really doesn't have much for transit passengers. So talk to the airline and see if you can get a free room. Otherwise, book a room yourself. The are a number of affordable options close to the airport. It's not that expensive and you get a good night sleep. Depending on where you ended up staying, you might be able to walk to a nearby mall to catch a movie.
Bring some singapore dollars with you. Don't worry about brunei dollars. The currencies are on par and are accepted everywhere in brunei.
You get some decent dining options at the airport for breakfast.
