    do you think worth a punt to get $50 vanilla card? can't see anything mention $100 on smaller print. I sure take a $50 card as it is 4.05/50 than a 4.05/100. buy two $50 get double profit percentage.

    Thanks to commenter above, a warning the vanilla gift card may have fees each month, after 6 months if not used up. So I checked the Only One Visa Card, since I have one.

    It does not look like the Only One Visa has such a term, according to this - in case anyone has any, and is wondering.

    How long can I use the Visa Gift Card?
    Your Visa Gift Card expires on the date printed on the front of the card or when the remaining value reaches $0. When your Visa Gift Card expires, the card account will be closed and any unused balance will be forfeited. When the balance reaches zero, or it expires, the Visa Gift Card should be destroyed by cutting it diagonally in half.

    No mention of such a fee, unless I missed out anything.

    I still have unused ANZ Coles Voucher last time. So purchase this deal with the giftcard to get the ~$4 bucks in real savings amount? Is that the worth the trouble? Any better way?

      Probably not worth the trouble. If you in Sydney, totally a no, tried number of coles none of them even have any value vanilla visa cards. If it is a $50 card, yes maybe worth effort as it is better % return. but not $100 as you only get 4% flybuy money. Not even talk about challenges on meeting stubborn operators about giftcards issues. also based on comment above $2.50 fee after 6 months. So sure will give it a miss

    i use them to pay the ato. some like the hn ones are a pain to check balances as you cant seem to do it as it asks for a 4 digit passcode and i dont feel very comfortable calling up every time giving them my card number as i dont trust the operator may use it/. do you need to activate the offer in fly buys account first?

    VANILLA Out of stock West Ryde, and Epping :( I am writing to Coles/Flybuys. There is a limit of one card per customer and so it is difficult to see how they could sell out by noon on the first day if they had started with reasonable stock.

        Not all of them. But I went to 5 in the eastern/northeastern suburbs (Newton, Firle, corner of Muller Rd, Gilles Plane and city) and there were none. Although the ad banner was there, the staff appeared clueless about the card. I then thought the banner is there because of the Google Play cards that they had in stock.

        Other branches may have it tho.

          These Vanilla cards are chock a block full at Coles Express but they're exluded. This is going to be like the last Visaa/EFTPOS offer where the complaints came in and the stores finally ordered in stock but only after the promo had ended.

      I received a phone call today from Coles West Ryde (Obviously letter received at HQ) and lady said that if I drive there they can sell me a Vanilla Card! $4.05 profit less petrol money……nah not worth it. And so she said that next time I am there to ask for her and she will give me some coles coupons. WTF - Coupons!!?? Maybe triple points for my next shop !!

    i had to ask the store manager to look for them. i seen them hidden on the top metal shelf of the gift card rack. just lift the metal lid if not locked and have a look in there or ask them to look in there. they seem to have limited stock and hadn't even put them out. i paid for one and grabbed 4 for later on at carindale about 10 left hidden. ref POS had to pay for in full amount no splits allowed via android pay using self serve check out, disappointed i couldnt use the many $40 coles gift cards i got for the amex promo to pay for it. tip maybe just grab them from coles express and walk out and pay for them at coles lol.?

    No trace of Vanilla Visa gift card at Coles Willetton, WA. Counter staffs don't have a clue on the card or promo. Gave some lame reasons and a confused look to avoid searching for them. Hope that Woolies would run the same promo as I have better experience with staff at Woolies.
