It's me again. I've been looking at Acer laptops, and can't figure out if these two laptops are the same? Their model number differs slightly. So I am wondering if that's just a region naming thing.

Are they the same?
Looks like the Nitro one has a red LED bar running across the top of the keyboard, may/may not be there on the other model. Identical specs for the hardware though.
Id be looking at a different brand. Hear nothing but failures with Acer.
Not sure how Acer are today, but have had nothing but good experiences. Bought one 7 years ago that's still going strong today (though I did upgrade the ram, hd to ssd, and moved to lubuntu). And another acer bought about 4-5 years ago that's again, going strong, just had to replace the battery which was cheap on ebay.
Maybe they're not good now? They were good in the past for me though
I had an Acer laptop for two years, then sold it to a friend who has used it a further 4.
Seems like the only problems it's had so far is lack of proper maintenance. He hasn't updated it once since I sold it to him, or defragged, or run ccleaner.
I have had Acer before, just kept going and going.
Have used my faithful Acer laptop for the last 5 years between uni and work. It's all plastic shell and not "pretty" but i have had a good experience and it was great value for money at the time.

I have used an Acer before, turned out very reliable but the outer case felt very fragile due to plastic everywhere.could hear it squeak sometimes lol.
