$50 eGift Card Free with a Purchase of $500 ($485, 3% off) Gift Card for Flight Center (Suncorp Benefits)

50

Just got an email from Suncorp Benefits with a new offer. Purchase a $500 flight center gift card through them to receive a $50 eGift card. Take into account the already 3% off for the gift card and it could be good value for anyone needing to use flight center.

$550 worth of value for $485

You will need to be a member of Suncorp benefits to be eligible, mine is through car insurance with them.

  • why dont you just use egiftcard to get 5% from woolies?

    • +2

I didn't know WW sold flight center gift cards. Anyway wouldn't $550 at 5% off be $522.5? Therefore costing an extra $37.5?

      • +2

Correct. Saving is less and there's an activation fee payable for flight centre gift cards purchased through coles and Woolies - from memory around $5. Also, the activation fee is payable on each gift card and they only stock $75 and $150 denominations

And Woolies' FC GC has 5% fee already ($150 FC GC from Woolies costs $157.50) so using 5% off GC pretty much only offsets the fee..

  • Hi Knobbs thanks for posting this I am in the process of changing my homeloans over to Suncorp. Does it say anywhere if there is a max number of these that can be purchased via Suncorp that will receive the $50 bonus? Thanks

    • I believe it says,

"Limit of one bonus eGift Card per member/household"

      Sorry not in luck

  • I have home loans with them, do I have a suncorp benefits number? how do I get access to it? Are there any other benefits I don't know? lol

    • hi I have just assumed I can access this. When I find out I will let you know. If you find out could you let me know ta

      • do you have any update? nothing from me :(

        • Nothing from me as yet. just waiting to hear back from Suncorp that they are approving our homeloans (should hopefully find out this afternoon). Then can get some info

    • I got an email soon after signing up with them. Try and search your emails for suncorp benefits. Login standard is user: #email# pass: benefits

They have other discounts on GCs and various other bits and pieces. Worth a look

      • Googling suncorp benefits takes me to employee logins, assume you are not a Suncorp employee?

Another result from google is Suncorp reward but that's linked to credit card & can only buy gift cards using credit card.

Other than that nothing else from me.

        • Try this on for size

edit. Found an email they sent asking if I wanted to become a member of suncorp benefits with the title "Experience Suncorp Benefits", maybe try searching your email for that?

        • @knobbs: can't login with my email and chose to forget password 10 mins ago, haven't got email to reset password. Will wait a bit more.

If the email was sent when I just refinanced my loan last year, most likely i'd have deleted it.

Hopefully someone else with access to the benefits can give some clue.

          Thanks Knobbs for the infos!
